I've been taking Propecia for over 8 months and I'm fine. I've been taking it simultaneously with provillus capsules. I'm 27 now and my hairline is starting to grow back. Ok the hairs are not full blown hairs yet, but before there wasn't anything there, now I can see hairs starting to sprout, no lie. I gym 3 times a week, cardio and weights, eat alot of fruit and veggies and generally stay away from anything unhealthy. I used to be a smoker too.

The breast enlargement you're referring to is called gyno, and is extremely uncommon. The younger you are the better results you're likely to get, so if it's something you want to do, then you should absolutely do it. I used this stuff for 2 years. I had no noticeable side effects. However, It did not regrow any hair. In fact I lost more hair while on propecia then I had before. A waste of money. The thing about ahirloss treatments, is that they only really work well for the guys who have the least amount of hair hairloss. Im 25 and completely bald. Im fucked.

We are getting so close to the root of the problem...or shall I say the missing "piece". Finasteride blocks 5-AR II receptor(3-alpha androstandione glucoride). Research shows that the average male has a level in the 20's. Why is that some individuals who took propecia have a below normal level of 3-adiol G? 3-adiol G is located in the seminal vesicles, prostate, and spinal cord. So even though you may have a normal amount of DHT, it could be located at 5 AR I, not 5 AR II.
To lawyers out there...this could be a HUGE case. We have the #'s, blood tests, whatever you may need to prove this drug caused this damaged. People are going mentally insane trying to get better, it's not a laughing matter. We need help since the FDA nor Merck will assist us. If they helped us get better, everything would be put aside, I guarantee you that. I personally wouldn't want to deal with going to court just to make money in a lawsuit, I'd rather be better, but they are making it hard.

first i reduced the dose because of the side effects, but then i stopped it completly because there was no difference.

My wife was wittness to my hair loss and transplant and now she can not tell where it started and where my original hair begins. She has been a hiar dresser for 22 years now. I've been taking Propecia for over 8 months and I'm fine. I've been taking it simultaneously with provillus capsules. I'm 27 now and my hairline is starting to grow back. Ok the hairs are not full blown hairs yet, but before there wasn't anything there, now I can see hairs starting to sprout, no lie. Somehow there are only a few ppl, specially crazy americans, who always talk about "irreversible". Fins effect is reversible when not taking anymore for long enough(it can take up to maximum 1 year, till the 5-Aplha reduktase is fully working again, and hormone levels are 100% as they were before), but after a year the effects of fin are gone, fin has ben discarded for long time, its after effects are also gone... I used this stuff for 2 years. I had no noticeable side effects. However, It did not regrow any hair. In fact I lost more hair while on propecia then I had before. A waste of money. The thing about ahirloss treatments, is that they only really work well for the guys who have the least amount of hair hairloss. Im 25 and completely bald. Im fucked.

1600 members on the propeciahelp website..the number is growing at an astonishing rate.
Merck is doing nothing about this because of revenue. If you look at their balance sheet, Propecia contributes 400 million or so to their revenue #'s. However, their revenue on this drug is declining because are stop taking it due to horrible long term permanent sexual side effects.

if you have hairloss, just use an anti-dandruff shampoo and take high-dose saw-palmetto.
Those 2 things will stop hairloss safely and cheaply!

We are getting so close to the root of the problem...or shall I say the missing "piece". Finasteride blocks 5-AR II receptor(3-alpha androstandione glucoride). Research shows that the average male has a level in the 20's. Why is that some individuals who took propecia have a below normal level of 3-adiol G? 3-adiol G is located in the seminal vesicles, prostate, and spinal cord. So even though you may have a normal amount of DHT, it could be located at 5 AR I, not 5 AR II.

To lawyers out there...this could be a HUGE case. We have the #'s, blood tests, whatever you may need to prove this drug caused this damaged. People are going mentally insane trying to get better, it's not a laughing matter. We need help since the FDA nor Merck will assist us. If they helped us get better, everything would be put aside, I guarantee you that. I personally wouldn't want to deal with going to court just to make money in a lawsuit, I'd rather be better, but they are making it hard.

I have been a hair transplant tech, for 15 years now. I do not work nor represent Merck n any way... But I can tell you that lack of knowedge and patients is your ignorance! You CANNOT be on either propecia or Rogaine for 4 months and expect to see a difference. It takes approx. 9-12 months... And most importantantly... These drugs are not measured in sucess by growing hair, but in KEEPING THE HAIR YOU DO HAVE! So do your research before knocking these remarkable drugs...
