Ide's first F1 car was an absolute shitbox. Seriously, it was way worse than Sato's Super Aguri, which had all the working parts. On top of all that, he had to learn the circuits from about 5 minutes of track time before qualifying each weekend. In Melbourne, I swear his car wasn't bolted together properly, a death trap matched only by Hispania's two nightmares at the same track 5 years later. Ide got a much rougher rap from the FIA than he deserved - the same FIA that allows Sakon Yamamoto.

Rosset was a joke of a driver; that qualifying session at Monaco was just plain embarrassing to watch. That said, Ide was no better, and honestly, I think he is worse than Rosset; come to think of it, I don't think Rosset punted any drivers upside down, though he did his best impression as a bowling ball in that shemozzle of a start at Spa 1998.

Ide was no better and the worse case of positive discrimination the sport has ever seen. this video also missed out a few more of his classic moments. THAT pit stop where he missed his mark by about four feet capping it all off!
