  • where can i find that speed/tech , very nice !!!! what brand is it ?

  • @tocjo its a HD option,, used to be available straight from their home page

  • I am getting a 2011 Street Bob, should I worry about engine overheating? Can you ride a HD for 2-3 hrs at one time? Would a HD run straight for 500 miles( of course stop to fill gas)? Please reply anyone.

  • @MrChutzpah2002 you can run a Harley all day, everyday, flat out ,, no issues ;)

  • @RedRiverHawg Thanks, please be sure cause I am getting a 2011 bob but worried cause I hear people saying you got to be a mechanic to own a HD, otherwise spend 1000s to maintain and repair it all the time...

  • @MrChutzpah2002 lol,, absolutely no issues at all. I work on HDs all day long in our shop doing custom builds , tuning etc and fitting our parts. These twin Cam motors are bullet proof,, my own one is ridden fckin hard and has never had one issue and to put that into perspective, this is the only motor i have ever owned in my life that i have detonated !

  • @MrChutzpah2002 It won't overheat unless your a dumbass, I ride my '06 for usually 3-6 hrs at a time, and yes, it will run for over 500 miles straight with gas stops

  • @azpwnz Thanks but I am assuming that you had to get the Stage-1 kit. Cause I was told you got to get it if you buy a new 2011 Bob.

  • @MrChutzpah2002 yea, Mine has a stage 1

  • @MrChutzpah2002 yeah ive ridden from 9 am to 11 pm with only stopping for gas and to pee..and i dog the shit out of it lol..i redline first three gears just about every time lol..and that was on a fat bob..same thing

  • What is the top speed 120mph?

  • @codyc228 tough to say because on that clock and the OEM one the bike would fly off the end :) But no more than 130 i would say

  • Dude you got up to 100 in no time.

  • @Puck90a yup and its a pretty basic setup on that one,, just a sorted stage 1.

  • Wow you are the brave man...

  • excellent dude! Do it again, only a little less shakey...

  • @talentscoutjoe ok,, only next time its going to be a lot faster,, got a very tuned motor now ;)

  • I didn't know Street Bobs had a rev counter?

  • @wozza59 thats an optional HD combi drive,, you can still get them direct from Harley,, only they aint cheap ;)

  • @RedRiverHawg How much was it? It looks really cool, adds a bit of a sporty touch to it imo...

  • Hi, I also have a street bob. Could you please tell me were did you get the all in one speedo/tach meter?

    Thanks

  • @mundhera that one is a stock HD item available from their website,, although the cheapest place i have found is Chicago HD

  • I like my sports bikes and just assumed hogs just looked and sounded the part, not the case obviously. Im impressed.

One question, dosent the shakes make your hands and arms numb?

    Top video

  • @Danielson761729 thanks :) & no it was more the quality of my camera and how i mounted it,, the Street Bob is actually pretty smooth.

  • @sunrimsplus your an idiot

  • "Off the Clock": over 130 mph in 5th; what do you think it "tops out" at in sixth?

  • @FLHTom well,, you got to take into account some degree of speedo innacuracy,, so i am guessing flat out it may be 130 - 135 ? - sk8

  • I believe you're running a six speed? My 1984 Softtail would do an easy 125 mph with Mikuni 42mm; my '92 FLHT-P won't even break 100, kinda heavy.

  • @FLHTom yup 6 speed & the answer is,, go buy a Street Bob,, but then ya knew i'd say that :D

  • Back to the future!!

  • That camera shake pretty much epitomizes a harley davidson...

  • Fucking love my '06 Street Bob, raw power shaking your bones raw. Opening her up in 6th and seeing that speedo break 110 is freaking beautiful. Just sucks there is no American Autobahn. That's what we need here, a cross country Autobahn haha.

Sad to say even then we would end up having to split cars doing 50 ghosting each other lol.

  • Vibrate forever!!!! :-)

  • fuck yo discaima mutha fuka, i do wat i want, straight cruisin at 1,000,000,000,000

  • @LeviathanRan i'd go to a PCIII or PCV,, but first i'd spend some corn and get some dyno time in,, I work on Harleys now full time and ride a lot of them, every Bob we get can run right out on top end,, so something has to be up..

  • @LeviathanRan you changed the rear tire/wheel ?

  • @LeviathanRan well short shots are pretty crap, but with quiet baffles drilled out to 14mm they work well,, the PCIII has rev extend and my own sports map,, the big sucker AC is a POS so now i run a Joker Machine AC thats the nuts,,, apart from that the bike in the vid was stock, totally,, so yours should do exactly the same!

  • @LeviathanRan hey we are based in the UK, just outside of Swindon :) and we dont stock V&H, i just recomend them,, we are dealers for Joker and or course our own products,,

  • @LeviathanRan ok i got to go with the Joker Machine billet 6061 AC ( that we sell!!) and the V&H Competition pipe.. and definitely the PC over the V&H system.

  • @LeviathanRan nice going Bud,, congrats :D love the Fat Bobs,,, in fact fck it, love ALL Harleys :D Yeah for sure go for PCIII or PCV ( they do work on all models ) its way better than the fuel pack and its what i run. TTS mastertune is another good one, but the PCIII is ace and so easy to learn and tune :) Congrats again Bud :D

  • part no. on that speedo bud?

im rocking a custom 06 night train with a heartland rear fender

    nice bike!

  • @jcallesano hey man,, check the HD site and they have them listed,, get the part # and head over to chicago HD site, they do them real cheap,, congrats on the Train,, dig them hugely and we have just built one for a customer with a Rocket Bobs rear fender etc,, The Train is just the tits :)

  • I love your speedo combo thingies looks sweet!

  • @VinnyTheCuz yeah they rock,, Chicago Harley do them real cheap ;)

  • Getting a street bob pretty soon here...I can't wait, this is how I found the video

  • @kawrx2002 yeah you wont regret it,, Street Bobs are awesome :)

  • Wow, who says Harleys are slow. I know it's stage 1, but still. Thats 0-100 in about 10 seconds by my count

  • could even be a bit quicker than that,,and like you say, just a simple stage 1 :)

  • @kawrx2002 Gosh, how fast do you really need to go on a bike?

  • I was all about getting an Iron because of the cheap price. But as a college student I would have to give up my Ford Ranger to afford it. As soon as I saw the Street Bob I knew I couldn't settle for anything less. As soon as I can figure out how to afford one I'm ditching the cage and going for it.

    Your bikes are sweet.

  • thanks Bud :) and go for it,, you will NOT regret it !

  • Haulin man :) first time i rode mine i had to do the same and she did it no probs

  • Somebody has the NEED 4 SPEED! Nice vid.

  • Dude I want my Street Bob so bad...I replayed this vid 5 times because of the adrenaline rush...great job!

  • Buddy i hope ya get one,, its the best bike i have ever owned bar none :) got a better tank mount now and the Bob is running a little better, so hope to get this vid replaced with a steadier one soon...

  • thanks :) i'm on it, we did one last week of the new mods and got a few more over the next month hopefully,, thanks for subscribing ;)

  • Thats a hefty knock into first! Try preloading the clutch and it will go in smoothly, no knock!

  • well it sounds worse than it is, the camera tends to pick up and make very loud close sounds. Harleys will clunk in first, i could tell you why but you would probably get bored :) i run redline shockproof in the trans and its a great setup,, but either way, its not a problem..

  • No I woulndn't get bored, as I am a Harley owner myself! I say this as a fellow Jarley owner passing on helpful information, NOT to criticise. Mine was doing the same thing, I asked the local Harley dealer about it and he suggested pre-loading. All he told me to do was hold the clutch in for a few seconds before engaging first gear. I tried it and it worked! No more knock!

  • cool , thanks man, will try it.. i also sometimes, mainly mornings, do a double pull before hitting 1st.. thanks a lot bud :)

  • what was the top speed?

  • 120-130

  • tough to say because it happily shoots off the clock at 130,, so whatever the speedo inaccuracy is???

  • LOL with all the vibration, it looks like you were going Mach 5!

  • Nice clip ... you gotta be happy wit dat !!

  • yeah i am ,, BUT a week or so after i got the whole vibration thing sorted,, so gonna do it again soon,, well as soon as i can find another private road ;)

  • Are the shorter Pipes louder than the longer ones? Also are the V&H louder than the Samson's

  • i think out the box V&H are the loudest big name pipes out there,, you can get fckin loud pipes from Co's such as SickPipes,, but as far as the major manufacturers go V&H are awesome :)

  • haha I love the video, and the disclaimer is awesome cracked me up

  • very bad indeed, but cool...

  • NICE!!!! Ride that bitch like you stole it bro!!!!!

  • that was awesome :D sweet bike btw sounds REAL good!

  • Geezzz, I knew that dude, sorry, my bad, I'm just not paying attention these days. I will post my Street Bob on here as soon as I figure out how to download my camera. And type!

  • PCIII ?

  • Power Commander 3, by Dynojet. it provides tunable fuel maps, runs in tandem with eh OEM ECM. There are a few on the market, but the PCIII is easy to use, works off a laptop and runs great.

  • 6" then lol jimmy wona see the beast on here make the tanks pissed off 1 top bike coming up paint jobs better tho

  • maybe some more vids up your street coming here soon !! stay tuned :D

  • looked like 30 mph to me no wheelie

  • if you know Pete Le Feet then you know how far i can wheelie :D

  • That's is one hell of a Milwalkee Vibrator.

    That is cool.

  • Part number? Been trying to find something like this.

  • you can search it out on the chicago HD site,, i do have the part number somewhere,, if you PM me i'll dig it up for you..

  • What was the top speed during this run?

and where did you get the speedo/tach combo is it kph or mph

  • obviously the top speed was 70mph and the unit came from Chicago HD

  • I hope that was your lame attempt at sarcasm.

  • lame ? :)

  • It was a legit question considering you live in Sweden and the video quality is not high enough to differentiate KPH from MPH.

  • yeah i know,, but this is a public forum :) did not mean to offend :)

  • No worries man, can't wait to see your metal damage fix video.

  • well they are made and look great,, but right now we have major snow, so i have taken the bike off the road to do some more work and also fit new wheels etc,, so its going to be a month or so

  • is this posted on the forum?

  • great vid RRH - interesting speedo/tacho combined - mines just speedo in the uk - just had to buy a Street Bob after I visted LA and bought my HD jacket at Hollywood HD... love the bike but the weather's shit here in the UK.. ha.. best of luck

  • bitchin!

  • Where's the scantily clad girls? Good vid RRH, I don't think I could hang :)

  • hey bud, where ya been lately?

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!!!

  • yea baby! Great vid gotta love the Swedish!!

  • yeah Swedens great if you need a quiet private road to test on :)

  • Good vibrations.. :)

  • hahaha it looks as if its going warp speed there at the end with all that shaking! great vid dude!

  • Again, another great video. Kick Ass.

  • that bike is moooving!! awesome! In Sweden we go all out all the time! ;-)

can't wait to get a thunderheader and a pcIII on mine.

  • yeah Sweden is a great place to go :) Have heard a lot of good things about Thunderheaders and the PCIII is awesome..
