Saw him at Gaslamp District in San Diego Sep26-27. It was amazing. Sat and listened to him for almost 20 minutes. It is ridiculous how many people just walk on by.

It's actually a "bowhammered dulcimer." Michael Masley invented those bowhammered hand thingies- they are the only ones in the world as a result. Very cool, I think : )

I've only met him once, but at the time he was just performing on the Embarcadero (SF) in front of the Arganaut, I think- performing and selling CDs in the early evening. That was maybe a year ago, but I took the impression that he performs there regularly. If you live near the Bay Area, you could give it a shot...?
