@venom0808 The repaint version is a cheap alternative for those who missed out on the original one to own a Black Getter. I personally feel that the original one is still the best but at such a premium price, it is more realistic to get the repaint version, as long as it does not bother you that the paint is not like the original one. =)

@kohm100 This is a very limited release and the first Ex Gokin released by Fewture. And the only one that cones with the autograph of the late Prof Sato who designed the EX Gokin series.

Yes, it comes with several weapons like the Getter Tommohawk axe.

Articulation is relatively good and you can strike some dynamic poses.

I have only 1 of this and I want to handle it with extreme care. This is not a piece that I will play with, more like one that I will keep sasfely intact. =)

@zzr400cc In my opinion, SHE is a piece of art but it's too expensive to pay for a small piece. No doubt it is nice but I personally won't go for it because of its size and price. I will still go for the Fewture Black Getter but the price for it is really insane now.

what's the difference between the Ex Gokin and Bandai SOC? More die cast content and larger?

@blacksun2099 It's totally different in terms of size, design and diecast content. Generally, EX Gokins have a lot of diecast in them. =)

@blacksun2099 You gotta understand man.. For comparison sake, Soul of Chogokin is what a random kid buys (keep in mind this is just a comparison lol). The EX Gokin is what your crazy hardcore artist buys. It is just the full deal. Heavy, huge, massive detail, and REALLY EXPENSIVE. It's a huge quality jump. Just like how A Chogokin is a massive jump from Revoltech, EX Gokin is a massive jump from the Chogokin. For people like me, an EX Gokin is kind of like a holy grail...a dream T_T

Mazinger was not bad, except for light weight on the legs and the waist joint is a joke to look at. Jurmaruo was a big disappointment, but it was from his scrap book scratches. That why I am not buying anymore fewture products. Bandai SOC is all I need.

@hetabattousai I did not get Jurmaruo and yea they could have given more weight to the Mazingers' legs. I'm pretty positive on Shin Getter 1 though. Seems they did a decent job replicating the design from his sketch book. As for the other 4 robots, I'm likely to skip them. I just hope Fewture don't spoil their novelty by having too many repaints. And I am pretty sure we'll see a Black Shin Getter just for the sake of doing it.

Yeah getter 2 is crap based on the price. Getter3 is better (still crappy), but it's on sale so the price justified it.

Professor sato was a genius in toy designs. May he RIP.

@hetabattousai Well, Getter 2 is good to look at but my heart skips a beat whenever I try to move the joints about. It makes me feel that he could break if I am not careful. Getter 1 is very sturdy in comparison. Prof Sato was indeed a talent who we'll all miss. I'm sure he would have made the Mazingers look way better if he had still been around.

Good job, but I wish u would spend like 30 mins going over this. Not much reviews on this unit out there. For those who couldn't afford this unit, check out the getter 1 repraint version. Besides the neck piece, color, and weapons, it is very nice piece as well. Stay away from fewture other EX gokin, they are not the same quality. Nothing comes close in matching this version and the getter 1.

@hetabattousai Thanks for your compliments. Noted your request and I'll do a more comprehensive review for Black Getter some time in the near future. I haven't really 'played' with the other Getter Robos or Mazingers but after handling Getter 2, I do agree that the difference between him and Getter 1 is significant, in the sense that you feel Getter 2 is a lot more fragile and less durable compared to Getter 1.

OMFG! I am looking for this one Charles but geez, it costs like 4 times of its original price. I am very jealous...:( I dont know if I will be able to purchase one of this in the future because the only place I can find this is through ebay. And you know how ebay is...Oh well, congrats on your 50th video. And awesome reviews by the way. Looking forward for another 50+++ more videos.
