  • Phil, like most stupid Americans, does not realize that the Pledge (1892) was performed with the Nazi salute and was the origin of the Nazi salute and similar robotic chanting imposed by goverment. JWs were persecuted for defying American Nazism and its child, German Nazism at the same time. Francis Bellamy was a socialist & the USA did the nazi salute daily for 3 decades b4 German socialists joined in. See the work of Dr. Rex Curry. Today, only the gesture has changed. Stop the Pledge.

  • Phil donahue and jackson were right. This country says it is founded on religious freedom, yet it persecutes those whom they don't like. That is hypocritical and unfair. If muslims, hindus, mormons, baptists, and all other religions can be free to exercise their faith, Jehovah's Witnesses should be free to do the same. case closed.

  • I applaud Phil Donahue for stating the atrocities committed against Jehovah's Witnesses by the United States of America and their perseverance to reform religious freedom before the US Supreme court for all people.

  • @DrGiggles68 ...and furthermore, The Watchtower Society recently settled (out of court---can you say hush-money?) over 16 pedophilia lawsuits; and imposing gag-orders on the VICTIMS?!?!? Stripping them of their right to speak out about what happened to them? This proves that they're not out to promote truth, but to SUPPRESS it!!!! I wonder what Mr. Jackson would think of this organization now???

  • @DrGiggles68

Where did you get this information from? How can I test the truthfulness of your statement since that is all I have to go on. Personally I have severe doubt about your "claim" - as far as I am concerned, and I speak as a parent, no punishment would be too harsh and I know nobody who would feel any different. Preying on children is as bad as it gets, maybe even worser, than murder. Agreed?

But I want concrete information rather than another bit of "youtube" assertion.

  • the only holiday the JWs are allowed to celebrate is Nisan 14--Jesus' death; and they REJECT the sacraments---in direct disobedience of Jesus' own words to "do this in remembrance of me"

  • Donahue is confused. No, we can't be forced to believe anything. But Americans are required to pay taxes, to obey traffic laws, etc. I think all Americans should be required to pledge their loyalty to this country. If anyone wants to live here but have their locality to those want to kill us, we should send them packing. Actually, the Bible is very clear on this subject as well. Unfortunately, J. Witnesses re-wrote their Bible for their own purposes.

  • @karlmahlmann No, we did not rewrite the Bible. For your info, we simply made a modern language translation from ancient manuscripts thousands of which are now available today, thanks to archaelogy, for reference. Other older translations used archaic or old language many nowadays do not fully grasp, and were based from fewer manuscripts for accuracy. So what makes you so upset with people translating the Bible to English nearest to the original meaning from Hebrew and Greek?

  • @rhodanageorge Gee, you’re pretty hostile for a pacifist. There are dozens of modern scholarly translations. No one outside the JW cult accepts their book as a Bible. This is something, I’m sure you know. The JW book was written by non-scholars . It is a mutilation of the Bible that was written specifically to expunge every reference to the deity of Christ. This is something that everyone outside your cult understands to be true and it’s really not worth my time to argue about. over & out.

  • @karlmahlmann One thing I notice is that your style is like everyone else in your group. You all talk in a way that when people who do not know the real score would hear it, they would be inclined to dislike JWs. And for a JW like me who study the Bible , world history, and other secular references, it is almost upsetting (DrGiggles58 is good in that department) to see the misinformation and half-truths you post. Then please tell us about your religion or faith, maybe we will find answers.

  • @rhodanageorge whoa ho ho hold it right there! When I was in the org, independent secular research was a disfellowshipping offense! When did THAT change? and in your history pursuits, did you happen to find out about a 13th century German scribe translating YHVH in the Bible from Latin into German (JHVH) and inserting the vowels from "Elohim" and "Adonai" rendering the word "Jehovah"? THAT's the real story behind what the Bible in Living English (WT 1972) p.7 said about the name "Jehovah"

  • @karlmahlmann As for "sending them packing", to where? All JWs all over the world pay their taxes but do not salute the flag, pledge alligance or join the military, whether they are in Asia, Australia, Africa, Middle East...whether they are in Japan, China, Korea, Russia, Syria, Israel, Norway, Holland, Ukraine, -name it. They are neutral and would choose imprisonment or execution to uphold peace and avoid killing anyone. Of course you know what would happen if the whole world all became JWs.

  • @karlmahlmann

Sooo are you saying that the contributions their cases made, are confusing the issue?

It seems to me that this is the point Donahue was emphasinzing and the point Robert Jackson evidently got and wrote/spoke on.

please explain if you have the time?

  • @Andre8521 I believe, in general, that Americans can be required to pledge that they are not working with or supporting our enemies (e.g. al quida) to harm America. This is, effectively, what the pledge of allegiance is. I think Donahue was wrong in equating the pledge with some kind of statement of religious faith – even though God is mentioned. It certainly presents no conflict for someone of a Theist religion like JW.

  • @karlmahlmann Your point is true in one respect-

Pledge: a solemn promise or agreement to do or refrain from doing something| therefore I pledge I am in no allegiance with any of the human governments or terrorist groups who threaten the country i reside in.

Allegiance: the loyalty of a citizen to his or her government or of a subject to his or her sovereign|

I have allied myself with God & his son Jesus' Kingdom- my choice of sovereignty is already made. Therefore how could i now switch sides?

  • @karlmahlmann Even if God were not mentioned, it still presents a conflict- because it is the concept/meaning/theme/act that is in defiance of Gods desires for true Christians. Pledging your allegiance to God is a choice of sovereignty. But we still live here amidst other sovereigntys where we serve as Ambassadors and envoys. Though they highly *Respect* it, Do these representatives salute the flag of other countries while there? I can discuss this further if you wish- thank you for ur response

  • There are a few religions whose adherents have suffered a whole lot worse atrocities than the JWs have; and they are the Native Americans and other indigenous religions, Witches, and other faiths....who speaks for them???.....oh, but all that was done by Christians, so it must be OK

  • @DrGiggles68 Then you speak for them...Tell us which forum you would appear in to speak for them and I promise I and many others would be eager spectators...Let us see how good you are in convincing people. You can wear your costume too.

  • @rhodanageorge how about I make a video series? :)

  • Comment removed

  • OK, the JW and I agree on the issue

of murdering others and burning all flags

but I will go one step farther...,

    BURN ALL BIBLES

    OF ALL VOODOO FAITHS

    WORLDWIDE YOU STUPID

    FUCKING SUPERSTITIOUS

    PETROLEUM ADDICTS!

  • This video is now my all-time favorite.........so far!!

Thanks, Phil, for enlightening us about many of the injustices going on in the 40s, events disguised with "national fervor'!!!

[I hope Phil's passion for our biblical stand encourages him to start studying the Bible with us!! That would be SO cool!!]

  • @JWinCT fuck you you white evil pig!

  • Jehovah's Witnesses can be proud of their history in defying the Nazis and American patriotic zealots at the same time. It is an inspiring story to be sure. But most of Jehovah's Witnesses living now have not been put to the test, not really. JW's, especially in the West have it easy. But the test is coming. At Revelation 3:10 Jesus spoke of the test coming upon the entire world. The test will come about when the entire Anglo-American system collapses and reemerges as a global dictatorship.

  • @ewatchmandotcom whats your problem?! Don't like the truth? Your just like the rest of them..you love having your big hairy ears tickled and your white hairy ass licked! You white piece of trash! May god grind his heel into your ugly fuckin face!

  • @ewatchmandotcom I hope Iran, Russia, China and the entire middle east blow the fuck out you white american pigs and your fake allies the british evil empire!

  • @ewatchmandotcom you rich white evil oppressive american fucking lying bastard! Fuck you and mrs king!

  • Drgiggles jehovah god is a patient and loving god also freely forgiving. It is not too late to repent and be forgiven. You would be welcomed back by all.

  • @rambeemersnr no thank you. I was duped and exploited once, and never will go through that again

  • I Agree... Coming on here talking about not doing research and then making a RIDICULOUSLY false claim like that!

  • However, as this video shows, there are still those that can appreciate what the witnesses have done for even those not willing to hear. Witnesses have definately done a lot more for this world than any organization claiming to bring peace has done thus far, or Will do!

  • Well Fortunately for all of us, the provisions of Free Will given to us from God is a far more loving one & something that can't be taken from you the way freeness of speech & worship etc... have been taken away from many, on many occasions. So if this person posting these comments wants to believe what he/she believes, as unfortunate as we may know it to be, it's his own will. A provision granted to ALL from God.

  • I have been serving Jehovah now for 33 years! This Sat. Morning after viewing this interview has given zeal and a very high degree of expectation to a wonderful day in the Ministry today. cmiles

  • I wonder what Robert Jackson would say if he knew that Jehovah's Witnesses deny me, my constitutional rights to free speech and, freedom of religion. Americans cannot be forced to Believe anything? I can't even speak what I know to be the truth to my own children in my own home.

  • @PrintedTruth I also wonder what Mr. Jackson would say if he knew that this organization was directly responsible for the deaths of THOUSANDS of their own followers???

  • @DrGiggles68 Hey, sober up, old man...what are you talking about?

Do you think anybody would or could believe you? The guys who writes things about mind control, coverups, etc., are simply a pile of apostates, misfits, and sour losers who have nothing else to do but being bitter for not being noticed anymore. Others who know better about people like you and why you write these stuff simply shrug their shoulders and say who cares? Do you have something better to offer? Nothing at all...

  • @rhodanageorge what am I talking about? (who REALLY needs to sober up here?) I am talking about a multi-billion-dollar corporation whose business practices are directly responsible for not only the deaths of thousands of people, but have also destroyed the mental health of many more...the rank and file JWs are the ones who have to suffer what Phil talked about, while the bigwigs in the ivory towers up at WT headquarters rake in loads of cash and DON"T CARE

  • @rhodanageorge your WT programming is really starting to show!!! I explain this in a video I made called "Thoughtforms and Religious Mind Control"

  • Jehovah's Witnesses enjoy the advantages of the freedoms in the places we reside.

However in places were those freedoms do not exist we still maintain courage to do our work despite the oppresion. We appreciate those ones who love freedom.

    Thanks Phil.

    Thanks Justice Jackson.

  • (Ezekiel 6:14) . . .And they will have to know that I am Jehovah.

  • what a shame that despite even secular sources praising the Witnesses, apostates still proliferate and find fault with what is clearly the truth!

  • @sarahpeishi with a 100+ year legacy of doctrinal reversals, failed predictions, and cover-ups of all kinds of wrongdoing, are you SURE it's the truth?

  • @DrGiggles68 Could you show a better one? You are an old guy now and you should know better than being bitter all your life.

If you were 35 when you got disfellowshipped, and you spent 28 years of futile research, you must be some 65 years old already. Hey, sober up, old man! Have you found what you have been searching for yet? If you have, go find a better forum that this one. Let us see how your reasoning stands...granddad.

  • @rhodanageorge you keep saying FUTILE research??? The Society judges other faiths using the criteria of doctrinal reversals, failed prophecies, and cover-ups. And during those 28 years I found example after example of them FLUNKING their own test---and STILL insisting they are the yardstick by which all others are measured...OH THE HYPOCRISY!!!!! the only real futility here is believing what they say

  • @rhodanageorge whatever gave you the idea that I was DFed @35, anyway? I left waaay before that, lady; and I'm not nearly as old as you think I am---again, not only are you terrible at clairvoyance, but your math skills need work, too.....and PS I don't drink, either.......

  • @DrGiggles68 You wrote @rambeemersnr that you were duped and exploited once, and never will go through that again. After 28 years of 'fruitful' reseach, have you found something better to offer. Oh, that was 28 years of only finding out doctrinal reversals, coverups...You are a poor researher then...So, you have not started your search for a better alternative yet. Better do it quick, old man, you are not getting any younger. The bitterness must be all over your face, though.

  • @DrGiggles68 If you became a JW at 20, been one for 10 years, got disfellowshipped then started a 28-year research after that, then you must be about 60 years old. Normally, one feels bitter if upset when younger...if you are still bitter at your age for being kicked out almost 30 years ago, then, well you are something else...get a life old man...why cry over some spilt milk 3 decaeds ago...do something better for your self...you will die of cancer with what you are doing.

  • @rhodanageorge you might need to clean your crystal ball cuz you're getting even more off the mark here

  • @DrGiggles68 Crystal ball? wt programming? deaths of thousands of people? bigwigs in the ivory towers? rake in loads of cash and don't care?

What are you talking about? Something is really wrong with your brain, old man. You must be very disturbed.

  • @rhodanageorge oh my, was I talking over your head there? Funny how easy that was!!! Are you really that DENSE?!?!?

  • @DrGiggles68 Don't think too highly of your self, mad old man. The gobbledegook you post can only come from a deranged mind like yours. When you said WT "destroyed the mental health of many more", well I'm sorry you got crazy inside my organization. It's a pity nobody put you in a mental institution and you are still free making these insane inputs on youtube. Anyway, by your statements, your madness becomes obvious and plain. You need help, grandpa. Are you not a danger to your grand kids?

  • @rhodanageorge ya know, the Watchtower Society has been running this scam for decades, ever since JF Rutherford took it over. But if anyone talks about it, they're labeled "crazy, insane, etc." what does that make the society???? You like to label ex-JWs "apostates" but it's no big secret that CT Russell (your founder) was part of the Adventists before breaking away and starting the Society; so the JWs are apostates from the get-go......

  • @TheTrollSlapper that's been my point all along...I remember that one of their campaigns years ago was picketing churches with signs reading "Religion is a Racket and a Snare." Ok? Now, a multi-billion dollar empire=RACKET And once you're in, there's no honorable way out=SNARE the sorry list goes on and on

  • @rhodanageorge really? check out silentlambsdotorg, and type "Jehovah's Witnesses" in their search window----I triple-dog-dare you

  • @DrGiggles68 As for you sir, I apologize that I let you succeed in upsetting me. I take back the not-so-respectful words I used. I forget that is what you people are good at. So just let me go back to the question I time and again pose to you, and I pose the same to all who complain about our faith and organization, "What better things could you offer?"

  • @rhodanageorge how about no religion at all? Think about it: it is the #1 cause of the strife throughout the history of mankind. Now that I removed myself from any religious affiliation I feel freer now than I've ever felt. No more fear, no more threats, no more giving my money away to a bunch of ingrates.

  • Im not a witness...but love the fact they are 7 day a week in practic. I even see them on the westside...risking thier lives to spread the message. Thats keepin it real. And love they dont shy away from sciences!!!!

  • Jehovah cares for us all. He does things in his time not ours. what we don't understand at one moment becomes so clear after a bit of time. I love Jehovah :)

  • Jehovah's Witnesses go "door to door" because Jesus commissioned us to "preach the Good News of the Kingdom in all the earth" and this was the way Jesus trained his apostles and disciples to do the work - door to door (Acts 8:1, 10:1). They wanted to reach every person they could. Hence door to door, although witnesses preach informally as well.

  • @vogts2 This "good news" has been preached since the 1st century, by many.

  • What happened in 1940 to Lillian and her brother was much the same as what happened to the three Hebrews, Shadrack, Meshack and Abendego when an idol of the state was made and they were forced to go and bow down to it. They refused as this to them would be idolatry. God protected them.

  • 2:50 jehovahs witnesses do that worldwide, its on the inside cover of a watchtower magazine. they are focused on the bible when you takl to them, not doorstep conversions.

  • it's good for people to hear this to know just how bad we need a gov. that brings justic to all..

  • @DrGiggles68 That not so. Do your history about Jehovah Witnesses.

  • @larrylie88 I did, that's how I found out things about the Society that would blow your mind. In fact, I was in the Organization for 10 yearsbefore I had enough of the mind-control and disfellowshipped myself; and have spent the last 28 years researching it. And as far as stripping you of any say-so in the things that concern you, just try questioning their dogma.

  • So are you saying the Bible is out of the door. Were you Disfellowshipped.

  • @larrylie88 I disfellowshipped myself...remember the rule that if you catch a fellow JW cursing in public, that you are to report them to the Elders? Well, I caught an ELDER doing it and reported it. They basically declared war on me, so I told them to stuff it

  • @DrGiggles68 You're out! You quit! OK... has anyone been stalking you, or threatening you for quitting? No! Serving Jehovah is a personal choice that each of us has a right to accept or decline... no problem! If you don't agree with what they teach go find a religion that teaches what you want to hear. No one will stop you, but we wish you well in your quest. BTW If you find something better, then, please let us know.

  • @uvuvyx ...actually, the Society DOES keep files on ex-members---ESPECIALLY if they publicly criticize the Society (betcha didn't know THAT, didja?) and the Judicial Committee DID tell me that if I tried to come back, that I would be UNDER SURVIELLANCE (the exact words uttered by Brother Charlie Bryant of the Jamestown, CA congregation!) now how would they do that without stalking me???

  • @DrGiggles68 I don't know what you did or did not do, or what happened to you. Jesus is the head of the Congregation and he knows how to manage the works or correct things inside his Congregation if needed but in his own due time. But perhaps you don't believe that he is your capable leader and you took matters into your own hands.

  • @rhodanageorge Actually, Jesus is the head of HIS Church, or body (Col 1:18). Not the JW congregations. The Church is compiled of his spirit-begotten brethren; less than 1% of JW's even claim to be of such. Many people have taken stands for what they feel is correct. This is commendable.

  • @uvuvyx oh, and also, it's not just the WB&TS that is guilty of things like this. The Worldwide Church of God do the same thing to people. In fact, these two sects have been swiping ideas from each other for decades. Here's a few questions: do the JWs still hold to the idea that Jesus was the Archangel Michael incarnate? Where in the Bible does it say that? If not in the Bible, than what book DID it come from?

  • @DrGiggles68 this will not become a debate forum on religion. YOUR OUT! That was your choice and decision. It is apparent that your love was not for what you had been taught and you wanted something else. We have been given free will by our creator. Now use yours to go on with your decisions in life.

  • @DrGiggles68 Now you remind me of that evil slave in Jesus' parable, who beat his fellow slave because he thought that his master would take long in coming back. His lack of faith in Jesus' leadership made him vengeful and bitter. There is still time to come back. But it is your choice as a free moral agent. Perhaps, you are now unwittingly fulfilling Jesus' parable about apostates.

  • @rhodanageorge odd, is it not, that the word SLAVE is used twice in that parable?

  • @uvuvyx Consider the words of Circuit Overseer Bart Thompson, who, at a training meeting for elders, held up a book with a green cover and told those in attendence, "If the Society told me that this book is black instead of green, I would sa,, 'Y'know, I could have sworn it was green, but if the Society said it's black, then it's black!'"

P.T. Barnum must be giggling in his grave...

...while the Watchtower Society laughs all the way to the bank...

    Class dismissed!!!!!

  • @uvuvyx no, I haven't been threatened, anyone who tries to threaten me gets LAUNCHED! But I know of many who have been threatened...

  • First of all you can't disfellowship yourself. You may decide to DISASSOCIATE yourself and break all ties but disfellowshipping is done TO you, not BY you.

Second - you did not break all ties if you have been harboring a 28 year old grudge and doing research all that time.

How about make your decision and move on. GET A LIFE.

  • @madamqueen100 ahhh, yes that good old standby "GET A LIFE"(like I take orders from you)--- beware the imaginary wisdom of pop-culture cliches!!! As to disfellowshipping myself, I could and I DID. The Society changes those rules every so often...not really harboring a grudge; but the Society has a LOT of things to answer for

  • @DrGiggles68 I would say that still complaining about something that happened 28 years ago falls into the "get over it" category (another pop-culture cliche).

  • @madamqueen100 It's not about what happened 28 years ago, it's about what I've dug up during 28 years of research....capiche?

  • @DrGiggles68 28 years of research, futile research...because until now you haven't found a religion to replace your old one...within you you know there is nothing else out there...and as the years go by your bitterness grew...

  • @rhodanageorge ...nice try, but I found a better religion MANY years ago! One that is not run by a corrupt mind-control-obssessed authoritarian oligarchy. One that celebrates who I am; and doesn't try to convince me that green is black

  • @rhodanageorge EXACTLY! Apostates are the most bitter people. Angry because they have no answers and full of pride.

  • @ras315 not so! "Apostates" are angry and bitter because they realize they've been SCAMMED and they have every right to be...(in many cases disfellowshipped over false accusations---years of faithful service and several thousands of dollars sucked up without so much as a "thank you.") There is no better scam than when its victims are in denial

  • @TheTrollSlapper What I asked DrGiggles68, I would also ask you...Have you found something better? We will be happy to hear it from you.

  • @rhodanageorge The trollslapper and Dr Giggles68 are the same people!!

  • @ras315 I have an answer: The Douglas Walsh Trial (google it!) read the court transcripts, and THEN insist that you're the "truth"

  • @ras315 really? so now you are judging saying all non jw's are full of pride and have no answers?

  • @ras315 -apostates are only "angry" because their loved ones aren't allowed to speak to them. Having no answers to everything is better than pretending you do. One thing is for sure: Jehovah's Witnesses are exactly like the early Puritans who fought and died for their conservative rights but who then turned around and burned their OWN at the stake for not believing as they should....you have the good and the bad, hence and American religion was born and evolve into a rich publishing house

  • @DrGiggles68 do you still recall when Jesus made a statement and many disciples did not wait for his explanation and left him, he asked his apostles if they want to go too...they replied, Lord, whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life; and we have believed and come to know that you are the Holy One of God.

  • Comment removed

  • @rhodanageorge did you know that the character known as "Jesus Christ" was invented by the Romans during the Council of Nicea in 325 C.E.?

  • @DrGiggles68 It is either you are a lunatic or just desperate to create an argument. Either way, it was a waste of time talking to an apostate like you.

  • @rhodanageorge And sorry folks that for a moment I forgot what the society has been cautioning us about...being drawn into useless discussions with these evil servants...never again...

  • @rhodanageorge cautioning you against people who know what they are talking about?

  • @rhodanageorge yeah, there ya go, attack the messenger instead of addressing the message! THAT only lends credence to my argument...Just for the record, i am quite sane, highly well-read, and know many many thing that I'n not supposed to know; and my purpose here was to point out the flaws of what people have been both spoon-fed and force fed their whole lives...

  • @rhodanageorge ahhh, yes, the good old apostate label....Apostate: a former slave who will no longer be oppressed by fascism disguised as salvation; who knows how EVIL his former masters are, and who shall be silent no more

  • @DrGiggles68 Did you know embargo spelled backwards is "O grab me"?

    I made that up too.

  • @DrGiggles68 Jesus said to those who do not believe him as the Son of God (John 8:42-44): 42 If God were your Father, you would love me, for from God I came forth and am here. Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth. 43 Why is it you do not know what I am speaking? Because you cannot listen to my word.

  • @DrGiggles68 44 You are from your father the Devil, and you wish to do the desires of your father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.

  • @DrGiggles68 So although you say that you are quite sane, highly well-read; or no matter what you dug up during your 28 years of research; whatever you say about corrupt mind-control-obsessed authoritarian oligarchy fascism crap; who can believe you? You deny even your master, Jesus Christ. You really are an evil servant! You are a liar and thus belong to your dad, Satan, the father of the lie.

  • @rhodanageorge who can believe me? Everybody who has been through what I've just described in this thread, that's who!!! And speaking of denying Christ, ever notice that you don't partake of the wine and bread at the Memorial as Jesus told you to do???

  • @DrGiggles68 Five days ago you wrote "Did you know that the character known as "Jesus Christ" was invented by the Romans during the Council of Nicea in 325 C.E.?" How could you say this? How could you deny the existence of your former Master? And ask who would believe you? Who else, of course, but those who are like you...servants turned evil...like your dad, Satan, the father of the lie, an angel turned evil.

  • @rhodanageorge oh that's an easy one! All you have to do is study religious history, ALL religious history and not just the Society's version of it...and Jesus wouldn't be his true name, anyway. There is no "J" in Hebrew! And The Society's own "Bible in Living English" (1972) on p.7 ADMITS that the name Jehovah is a blunder made by a medieval scribe

  • @DrGiggles68 Yes, of course, there is no J in Hebrew. Does that mean there is no biblical person as Joseph anymore? No John, Jews, Jacob, Jeremiah? I thought you said you are highly well read...And the "Bible in Living English" (1972) is not the Society's...You really are like your dad, Satan, the father of the lie...Goodbye...you are such a waste of time...

  • @rhodanageorge look again...the "Bible in Living English" WAS printed by the Watchtower Society in 1972! The exact quote is as follows: "As to the Old Testament name of God, certainly the spelling and pronunciation 'Jehovah' were originally a blunder" (p.7 of the Preface) that would mean to any thinking person that you've been worshiping a FALSE GOD all these years!!!

  • @DrGiggles68 the blunder happened through translating it from the original Hebrew, into Latin, and finally into English. So, the final rendering (into English) of these names (Jeremiah, JESUS, etc. are the results of the same blunder

  • @DrGiggles68 And it is of no use that you initiate discussions about whatever Jesus told since you do not even believe in the person. Why would anyone give you the privilege of discussing about Jesus' teaching when it is clear that you only want to create arguments? You really are from your father, Satan.

  • @rhodanageorge yo, Einstein, I just pointed out another incongruity in your belief system

  • @rhodanageorge in fact, I'd rather BE a Satanist than ever go back

  • @DrGiggles68 Now there you are...Your true devilish color is out...Now that is what I am saying...Who would believe you? Nobody but your own kind...

  • @rhodanageorge ...and the Watchtower Society itself helped me tremendously in reaching that conclusion :)

  • @rhodanageorge ...and with doctrinal reversals, failed prophecies, and cover-ups of their own wrongdoing (it shows in their own literature), the Watchtower's true devilish colors have come out as well....there are there for all to see; all you have to do is take off your Watchtower blinders, lady :)

  • @rhodanageorge my father was never "Satan" but an electrician from Amarillo, TX

  • @DrGiggles68 You left but with nowhere else to go you stayed just outside the organization's door...finding ways to be noticed by your former brothers...and as nobody seems to even look you grew more bitter and took more drastic steps to be noticed...it is time you stopped doing that and to come in from the cold...it is not too late yet...

  • @rhodanageorge again, nice try....you're wayyyy off target with that one

  • @rhodanageorge ...so much for your career in clairvoyance...

  • @DrGiggles68 I have done years of reaseach as well and have looked at both sides and as yet i have not found one anti JW web site or book to be truely honest in what they say. The give half truths that sound good. So I would guarantee your research is flawed and full of holes

  • @GordoBurns have you found any pro-JW books or sites that are 100% truly honest??? No one person has ALL the answers, but I do have a few

  • @DrGiggles68 Even if JW's did not go to court on your behalf, you are a beneficiary of the results— expanded rights for all.

  • @MacSmiley ...not exactly...there are still groups in this country who are being japped out of their religious freedoms.

  • @DrGiggles68 That's not a good thing. It shows that no country is immune from injustice.

Nevertheless, the denial of individual freedoms to a few in the U.S. does not negate that those freedoms were first recognized and confirmed largely due to the efforts of Jehovah's Witnesses in securing their own constitutional religious freedoms. Those freedoms went on to have a wider application to other groups.

This is a matter of public record, not a subject of opinion.

  • @DrGiggles68 All that sounds good and all, but you know out of all people man is going to be man. Don't let that turn you from the Bible. You know.

  • I though we were supposed to be tactful when we witness to people. You were too forward in your comment to Phil Donahue. Go throught the reasoning book and see how we are supposed to respond. Our heart should be moved to see someone like this to have empathy for Jehovahs People. You need to remember that he is sincere. If he gives credit to someone else, just like non witnesses give credit to another god, we still have to be tactful.

  • I always enjoyed the Phil Donahue show. As demonstrated here, he is an amazing speaker with passion and reasonableness.

  • and they were called cowards for not going to war...

but they stood up, even to castration, in the name of what? "patriotism"?

meantime they were being killed by Hitler for the same reasons!

(visit the Holocaust Museum in DC and you will see that)

they don't seem cowardly to me.

  • @ThrowMeAPillow how about I castrate you right now and put a razor blade to your mothers clitoris for the sake of your religion. How about it? Lets see what your made of you cocky prick! Do you have the courage to face extreme torture for your shit fucking religion you barking dog!

  • Jehovah is and will make his name known. All will recognize him!!!!!

  • Really, Phil?

What you couldn't see was probably a spirit creature of great power flicking a decision-making imperfect human on the back of the head. Don't revere whoever the Jackson person is, but just know that it's Jehovah's purpose that will prevail.

If it wasn't Robert Jackson, it would have been someone else to get things done right. Case in point from the first century: Gamaliel.

  • It may seem that way to some but we do respect those that choose to leave us. We do not speak bad about them but if they are disfellowshipped they are shunned as the Bible instructs us to do. 1 Cor.5:11. But we wish them well and are very sad to see them go.

  • @bevy32650 The book "Organized to Accomplish our Ministry" page 150-151 (pub. WT Bible & Tract society) says "The person who has disassociated himself... is viewed in the SAME way as one who has been disfellowshipped." So there is no difference from a JW perspective. And DF'd ones are not treated well by "Witnesses".

  • Even though Jehovah's Witnesses won't salute a flag, they respect any country that they live in. They pay their taxes and won't evade them. They obey the laws of the land they live in as long as these laws don't conflict with God's laws. They teach those who are illiterate how to read. They are not prejudice and respect all nationalities. They are taught to be peaceable with all men. Jehovah's Witnesses history gives us all freedoms that we may take for granted.

  • @nlehti It's a shame they do not treat those who choose to leave thier ranks with respect and without prejudice, also.

  • @estudiantedelaBiblia indeed there is no honorable way out. The same as the mafia...or the Nazis...or the Worldwide Church of God

  • @DrGiggles68 Oh so not true, dude. The Org. does all that is legally required---then they use there money to improve the area in which they occupy. Property values gu up where JW's are. That means more tax dollers for the community. They are the definition of a good neighbor.

  • @swt1953 there ARE news articles that prove otherwise, but you're not allowed to read anything like that, now are you?

  • @nlehti Thank you...because you are exactly right, we mean ABSOLUTELY no harm to anyone.

  • @nlehti you sound like a fucking robot!

  • Many people don't realize that as much our freedoms were and are fought for on the battlefield, they are also, if not to a greater degree, fought for by individuals who stand up courageously for what they know to be right and just despite abuse, persecution, and public humiliation.

  • This is amazing! My eyes started to tear up. And to think this happened in America to Americans!

I'll read more about Robert H. Jackson.

  • Very nice coverage. The scriptural stand of neutrality of Jehovah's Witnesses has been greatly misunderstood. Thank you for this unbiased account. My husband, an attorney, helped ones in his Con Law class get a glimpse of the background of this history. He spoke with Lilian Gobitas and has a copy of the letter her brother wrote to his school, in effect saying " I love my country but I love my God". The loyalty to God's kingdom was clear in his mind.

  • @mooitz Thank you for this comment and may you and your husband be Blessed all the days of your life, even forever!

  • la la

  • Truth: malice may attack it and fear may deny it, but in the end, there it is.

  • This is a great interview. Go Phil

  • Very nice to see people in the media with the correct understanding.

  • Wow!

  • Too few people know how fragile it was to be an American or a Canadian 75 years ago. The freedoms we have in so many ways today were fought for in the court rooms in the 40s, right here in the homeland. Homeland Security did not protect us from ourselves. Many were persecuted fighting tooth and nail for these freedoms, RIGHT HERE IN THE USA AND IN CANADA! by Canadians and Americans... not foreign terrorists, North Americans! Wow!

  • The Witnesses also refused to salute Hitler and the Nazi flag, and refused to serve in his military. If more Germans at the time made that same difficult choice, think of how many lives would have been saved.

  • @btrfliesrfree you are mistaken completely. they (to further themselves, and to get the Jehovah Witnesses in Nazi Germany freed) sent a letter to Hitler AGREEING on his treatment of them in the Holocaust. Saying quote "The jews have been long rivals of us Jehovah Witnessess" so please research before you state.

  • @slayerrules114 Please site your sources.

  • This is a piece of history, simple the truht
