CSX Military Train

didnt look like weapons too me. those were quadcons, probably gear and personal goods from soldiers returning from iraq.

This train was believed to be heading to the port. It had some Military vehicles on some flat cars farther back in the train.

I didn't know military had trains.

In Virginia, VRE has a station at the Quantico base. Of course, CSX trains pass by as well.

I think this one was hauling weapons and such. I visited Washington D.C. and did a lot of railfanning on the VRE, Amtrak, and CSX lines.

I've seen quite a few military trains carrying tanks and Army geeps come through Norman lately on the BNSF.

DODX means Department Of Defense and I heard a couple of Military Trains when i camped in Watertown NY and one also crashed while we were there
