  • hahahahahahahahahahahaha are you wearin cowboy boots ??! :0

  • wow i come to see a video about a powerstroke and there are fuckin racist comments on the page. how did we go from truck talk to racism wow.

  • Thats not a tip thats your factory tail pipe.

  • great engine, great sounding exhaust.

  • 4in. thats what i have from turbo back 99 7.3 watch my vid u should upgrade 2 4 man it makes a dif

  • hey i'm just curious. If you take this truck to get an inpection, it would fail right? so since u straight piped it do you switch out the exhaust put the muffler back on to make it pass inspection?

just wondering cause i have a 7.3 and i llike the straight pipe sound. I unclamped the exhaust pipe right before the stock muffler and let the muff and tailpipe just hang there for awhile but anyways just wondering

  • no it is not illeagal to have straight pipes on diesels i have straights on mine and never had a problem.

  • sounds great looks like shit

  • STOCK??!?!?!!?!

  • 10 bucks says you a porch sittin watermelon eatin greasy haired nigger hahaha go swing in a tree

  • ignorant much?

  • you caught me i'm a porch sittin watermelon eatin greasy haired nigger, even though i have a computer right, just use your brain for once, please, it helps in life, and you need all the help you can get at life b/c you suck at it!

  • let me guess, your a nigger.

  • way to be ignorant! yah go stupidity

  • Its not ignorance. He clearly hates porch monkeys. I do too,you got a problem with that?

  • no its ignorance, b/c your saying that all black people are porch monkeys, thats how fucking dumb you are and i hope you realize it now, I'm willing to debate this with you b/c your wrong and racist, good luck at life, your gonna need it b/c you suck at it!

  • Actually I'm not dumb you stupid coon-lover. I have the right to be whatever the fuck I want. I am a proud, and regarding this video. Im Proud I'm a racist, I'm proud I drive a Ford. And I'm proud you think I care that I'm "ignorant"

  • I don't love black people thats where your wrong again, god damn kid how much more wrong can you be. I have the right to say whatever the fuck i want. I am proud, and regarding this video. I'm proud i'm not a racist, I'm proud I drive a ford f-250 7.3 with 5 inch mbrp, K&N cold air intake, and dp5 tuner. And I'm proud that I'm more well rounded and not a dumbass cunt like you, and if you respond to this then your a pussy

  • I'm white, but i'm just not that stupidly and openly judgemental, i got an education, and i know that we're equal and blacks are pretty much superior when it comes to sports or atleast I think so!

  • Blacks are superior to sports? I wouldn't say all that. The only reason niggers are better at running than the rest of the world is because they are so used to running from the Police.

  • I live in savannah Georgia, we have the worst public schooling in the country, I know alot about black people and living down here has made me prejudice against them, but your right about the cop thing

  • I spent a lot of time in the Army, and if you think niggers where YOU live are bad, try giving a nigger a little bit of power. They will run and run hard and use and abuse that power until they cant anymore.

Now, I'm back in my rich upscale NY condo, where I'm unlucky if I see 1-2 niggers every 2-3 weeks.

  • Maybe you should go back into the army where you get the shit fucked out of you, since you cant keep those racist words in your mind where they belong.

  • Go back to the army where I get the shift fucked out of me? Huh??

Dont be a bitter hippy ass nigger lover. I've dealt with more niggers than most people in this country have, minus the cops, and the are a rather disgusting, ignorant race that the world would be better off without.

... unless of course we reinstate slavery.

  • @85305 you tell them nigger where they belong in damn cages in africa eating bread crums

  • @uberbadnoob6699666 bread crumbs?! Those are far too good for a nigger to feast upon!

  • @uberbadnoob6699666 oh shit bread that would be wasting wheat rat truds is what there gonna eat then

  • get a 8 inch tip instead of just pipe

  • eh it sounds good but i perfer Cummins myself

  • i thought about doing this until i found out its illegal to go on forest service roads without a muffler.

  • Actually I think it would be fine if you get a spark arrestor in the tip, they are only worried about sparks lighting dry grass and stuff.

  • fibercated

  • LOL. Every time I see this video it makes me laugh. I guess I was a little excited at the time, being that I had just made my first modification to my truck.

  • Do you have a chip on it??or just modified the exhaust syst.??are chips expensive??i have a 1999 psd f250.

  • Depends on what kind of chip your going to get. Personally I would get something from superchips which could cost you anything from 300-600$. The banks Big Hoss module is also a very good tuner.

  • do you have the cat and the muffler off the truck...? is the motor stock in this video..?

  • No cat or muffler. And the engine was completely stock at the time.

  • I have a question, maybe one of you guys know it (I have always wondered...why)

Why was the exhaust tip cut on such angle? It's the only stock tip I have ever seen to have this sort of cut on it. All the others are simple cut clean off...???

  • I like the slash cut. I guess it was a styling design???

  • Ayo! I have a qusetion, too. what's the best sounding exhaust system you can get for the money that lowers your egts, or do you just cut the muffler off? if all you have to do is cut the muffler off, dang, thats the best upgrade for the price!

  • 7.3's simply just DONT DIE .. they last A REALLY long time. Awesome motor too , lots of power in the 02's . ( we had a 97, 99, 01,02.5)

  • yeah they do! 320K miles and still strokin!!

  • pitboss: I am right behind you...317K and still going strong in my powerstroke. These things last forever

  • yeah, i have a friend who has 400k on his!

  • Man i gotta agree 100%. We have one and the thing is just an indestructible beast! The 7.3 was by far Ford's best diesel. 8 straight years of plowing and she's still pushin!

  • dear God - gotta love that turbo from the powerstrokes

  • PSD 7.3 is great enginem dont know why ford changed to the 6.0 PSD. Duramax is japanesse trash from isuzu. Cummins is the most reliable, and tows better, ford being faster without towing a load.

  • I got a 2002 f-250 with the 7.3 and love it, the only reason they got rid of it is b/c it smokes like a chimney, It wouldn't be able to pass inspection in the upcoming years like 05,06,etc.

  • @megaladon52 Its cuz the EPA is scared of HorsePower....thats why they drive peice o' shit hybrids....

  • why is everyone so ignorant. i have 2 7.3s one with 70,000 the other with 150,000 and neither have costed me a cent after purchase. how is that not reliable.

  • My 7.3 has 233k. Still runs great but have put some decent money into it. I do a lot of heavy hauling, I don't care what one has, things will wear. Would I buy another, you bet.

  • My '97 powerstroke never cost a cent but the rest of the truck cost me a bunch. Front wheel bearings, rear end went out, transfer case took a crap, four starters in 5 months, both power window motors shorted out catching the door panels on fire, and the truck only had 118,000 miles on it.

  • yea i have an 1990 7.3L IDI with 400 000 and only had little problems ie. fuel line, alternator its the most reliable engine i have ever owned

  • @kx250ltr450 those 7.3l's are the most reliable truck engines on the market.

  • There is nothing wrong with the Powerstroke or any other diesel but, remember there is no replacement for displacement. We have three Powerstrokes, three 743ci Cummins, a perkins, and a peugot so don't tell me I'm bias at all. My truck has 127,723 mi and it runs like new as you can tell in the video. And a buddy of mine has 206,000 mi on his PSD and, it is ran very hard and it still runs great.

  • My '96 F-450 7.3L has 336,000 miles on it and keeps on running.

  • The turbo silences the engine enough I allways say!lol.

I find that the sound level doesn't go up that much when u just have a turbo-back pipe, but the whistle sound increases more..wierd! it also helps u appreciate haw long a turbo keeps spinning after revving, reminding u not to turn off when spinning fast.

  • my brother-in-law has a '00 250 that is straight piped 4" pipe w/6" tip

  • Got some turbo whistle now, nice work! I'm afraid to take off the muffler off my 02 7.3 4x4. I know no guts no glory. Sounds great thanks for posting!

  • It's not to bad, all you need is about 3 feet of 3 1/2" pipe, two 3 1/2" band clamps, and a sawzall. Cut out the muffler, cut the pipe to length, then the pipe should line up, just clamp her down. The only thing you need to watch is the tail pipe, you can rotate the muffler side of the tail pipe to relocate the tip to your desired location. hope this helps you summon up the courage.

  • Hey, thanks! I didn't know it was that simple!

  • just order you a true 4" turbo back exhaust with cat delete pipe and muffler delete pipe, it will lower your EGT's alot more and sound meaner than this one. Check out MBRP or Silverline Exhausts.

  • Hey! Do you have to add a 500 dollar exhaust system to get the great sound, or do you just have to cut the muffler off?

  • No just cut the muffler off and the catalytic converter off (if you truck came with a cat).

  • Hey, Thanks! It REALLY WORKS!!! That's How EVERY Powerstroke SHOULD SOUND!

  • powerstroke is the best diesel engine out there besides cummings but i still think powerstroke is better

  • There is no FUCKING "G" im Cummins! Fuckin A!

  • And Duramax is better than Powerchoke.

  • no sir the tranny behind it is but the engine is not

  • if you were talking about the 6.0 Powerstroke i would agree but the 7.3l is widely considered one of the most reliable diesel engines built. And i don't no any strictly diesel mechanics but i work with many multi platform mechanics and on the side I help restore muscle cars with many extremely talented mechanics..they may not be diesel experts but I think they are qualified enough

  • The 7.3 is one of the most reliable diesels made by Ford. And in the 90s it was definetly better than the POS diesels chevy had, but it doesnt even compare to a Cummins.

  • i wasn't making that argument i was comparing it to the Duramax and the 7.3 was the engine used until the 2003.5 model year I wish that they would put a cummins in a ford i think that would be the perfect truck

  • haha thats rich, what kinda mechanics have you been talking to? The 7.3 has a great rep. of being reliable.

  • NO kidding, the idiot has to be scared, I would take my 7.3L on dependability anyday.

Hey, that stock straight pipe sounds sweet. I ran a stock size exhaust for a couple years before I stepped up the 4" turbo back, sounds much deeper, and throaty with the 4"...

  • duracrap

  • Sounds good Got-R-Done!

  • Nice setup you have there!!
