If anyone's wondering why this record is different, if you've listened to the whole album, someone "Jenny" is mentioned a few times in it, obviously in the song Jenny and in Thinking of You. I've put two and two together, I figure someone had a good relationship with her, wrote songs on black & white etc, then this is them breaking up. That's probably why it's more mature and loud. And more serious, sad.

I find it funny how people say uts not "their" sound however it is "their" sound. If you have ever read anything about the maine or talked to them in person, this is the sound that they have always wanted to be. They have evolved as a band for themselves not fort others. Most bands change their music to fit whats in, not these guys. They do it for themselves. Will always be one of my favorites.

I feel like I have changed with The Maine through their time as a band. From album to album, they have grown and progressed and are still now evolving into something they are totally happy with.
