  • This is so awesome :)

  • thumbs up if that 70's show brought u here

  • Woke up with this song on a loop in my mind. Found this amazing video. I'm having childhood flashbacks. Love it, and this song.

Could you all be more talented?

  • Just goes to show you, Lite Brite isn't JUST for kids! I figured artists might use it for projects. Good job! It must have taken you a long time to do this.

  • Did you use all auto settings, or manual?

  • Where did you learn to do this? This is wonderful.

  • This reminds me of something The Cheat would make.

  • This must have been literally the most tedious thing.

  • I think this video shows a lot of things that music videos just don't have anymore... creativity. Thank you so much for making this, it's going on my favorites.

  • Well done

  • 5 people were deprived of a childhood and never had a lite brite :)

  • Lightbright burned down my house... ;_;

  • THIS IS AWESOME!

  • I was showing my 4yr old a lite brite commercial before we got the batteries to his, and came across this work of art, truly inspiring!! Great vid!

  • brilliance. this should be in the moma

  • OMG I LOVE IT <3 <3

  • love it so much.

  • I actually know Cwoodfield IRL how funny- my husband took me to the festival the other night, and this was my favorite one! Love the song!

  • I saw it last night too. Gorgeous, love the music, love the concept, love the nostalgia, love the passion that must have gone into its production. One of my favorites from the festival.

  • Saw this last night at the Georgia Animation festival - incredible work! One thing I was wondering - did you have to change the backing paper for every frame where you removed a peg, or did you find some other way to block the backlight?

  • I cut small pieces of black electrical tape until the paper got too messed up and then I would change the paper. Thanks for asking and thanks for watching!

  • Oh my gosh, this is amazing! Beautifully done. I'll be watching this over and over. And it brings back so many good childhood memories...

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Thank you for doing this amazing project! My favorite toy as a child.

  • this is crazyy! the transitions, being so great and smooth, leave me dumbfounded. i love it.

  • This is super sweet! I love Litebrite!

  • kite brite is da SHIT....!!!! LOL

  • FANTASTIC! I especially love the designs and how they change into something else. The entire thing is fantastic. I know it took alot of work. Thanks for sharing. Hope you do more with the lite brite technique.

  • THIS IS THE COOLEST THING EVER!!! Pure genius and amazing skill!!!!

  • that is the most amazing thing ever!!!!! how many pictures did it take???

  • over 2400, thanks for the generous comment

  • looks like movieNess in the beginning, but still cool video

  • soo cool. thanks

  • that was great! I wish I could do something like that. I've tried to venture into the stop motion feild, and it is HARD! Great video, definitly 5/5

  • thats crazy cool

  • that is pretty much the coolest things i have ever seen! i would never be able to do that!

  • Love it!

  • loved iT! HYPNOTIZING!

  • I liked how the camera/tripod wasn't that stable, it gave the video character. It's like one of those old black and white movies where the film flickers (kinda like the first Moviekiss video). Awesome job guys! PLEASE ROCK!!!

  • Get that base and camera still via normalizing pins lit as registration marks and the film will be improved to psychedelic perfection.

  • WOW

    this is great !!!!!

i cant beleive how patient this person who made this is

it must have taken at least 8 months to make it or loger

    wow kudos to the filmmkaer

  • It's too bad they didn't know how to use a tripod or a fixed exposure time.

  • i'm no photographic genius, but i'm pretty sure there was a tripod involved with this.

  • That is cool. I also have been trying to think of the name of this song all day, finally rememered.

  • very nice makes me want to buy one and make a vid

  • that's amazing. thanks for posting!

  • i'm better! no i'm not jk it's amazing i pretty much suck exept i can make k's better

  • amazing

  • this is unbelieveable

  • WELL WELL WELL i'm not the least bit surprised that, much like the director herself, this video is at once hip and whimsically nastalgic! i'm THOROUGHLY impressed with the inventiveness and ingenuity of the design, the song's tone has been illustrated perfectly by this video! LOVE IT!

  • Fantastic.

  • WOW!! that's amazing. seriously, my jaw dropped before the first 15 seconds were gone. i admire y-o-u for sticking to and old-fashioned rock 'n' roll sound with their music, and now i must commend gina for attempting old-fashioned stop-motion animation. in this age where everything's computer generated, it's so refreshing to know that some people aren't afraid to take the traditional, hard-working, no-cheating route to produce something wonderful. congrats!

  • I love the "NEAR/FAR" spotlight trick in the video. Tremendous work with no P-shopping! I hope the remix draws some attention to this wonderful song, though I'll always prefer the original.

  • I've been a fan of Y-O-U for several years now, and I'm happy there fan base and recognition has been growing...you should really check out their myspace and pleasrock website...and I LOVE this video and LOVE that it's a remix of my favorite Y-O-U song "MovieKiss"

  • It Totally Rocked! I am sooo proud of yo9u girl!

    Love-Brit

  • Awesome! Great use of such a kick ass childhood toy - an incredible bridge of low & hi-tech. Love it!!!

  • great stuff ,i love lite bright, exelent song, reminds me of David Bowie meets Radiohead

  • DAMN!!!

  • Whoa! Algebraic!

Wasn't sure about the remixing at first, but it grew on me by the end. Tell Gina it was beautiful work.
