Thats a moth flying faster than the shutter speed on the camera, that's all it is a moth or large beetle.

I think they are probably a type of animal, possibly one that usually exists outside our visual range. Maybe because they move too fast or only reflect certain light wave lengths.

You are right, funkyfairy68. There was a small documentary on these rod like species during a sky diving expedition (can't remember where) and it was a huge discovery because they were only talked about but never seen or captured on film because of their speed. Experts hope to catch and examine one to get a better understanding of what it is.
