omg, That about the 2 vowels sounding like "e" helped me a lot, i was having the most problems to pronounce these 2 vowels cause in other sites they tell you the little difference :S

@syakaer1 well it depends, if the ㄹ is between vowels, it would be pronounced as "R".

like 가라–ka-ra (Go). If there's a there's another ㄹ in front of the word, it would be pronounced as "L". 달리 – tal-li (differently).

why do you say "shi" instead of "si" when you read 시 ?

@AnnieSloan123 Because the "s" sound changes when used with certain vowels such as the "I" one. Perfect example, "소녀시대" is pronounce "So Nyuh (or Nyeo) SHI Dey (or Dae)"

@AnnieSloan123 Not that this will help but I knew it was going to be the "sh" sound instead of plain "s" only because of Super Junior's Siwon. It's not pronounced "Seewon" that I can tell it's like "Sheewon". Maybe it has something to do with being in front of the I at times?

I think it is because we regarded family is more important than I myself alone.
