I have the 150cc touring scooter, similar to yours. I get nearly 65 mph. If yours is a 250cc, it seems that you should get more speed than 70mph. I weigh about 225 lbs. What's up with that? I was thinking about upgrading to a 250cc, but if that is the average speed, I might as well keep what I have.
(Continued from below) If you take care of the minor details, like tightening all nuts and screws, making sure all cables are properly attached, and change your oil and spark plug at least every 1000 miles, they will last a long time. You want a yamaha, kymco, honda or vespa, they are the best but heres a little something to mull over; china manufactures over 50% of the worlds scooters and ALL of the big jap and euro brands use chinese parts!! 4 to 5000 dollars, you might as well buy a car!
For all those people who love to trash chinese scooters, you shouls start becoming independent thinkers instead of just going on hearsay. I have owned 2 chinese scooter a jonway 50cc, and my current bms tbx 150cc. My first scooter I dropped twice, front end crashed at low speed once, and wiped out at over thirty mph and the engine took no damage. Yes chinese bikes are CHEAP SHIT! (continued in next comment)

how many mpg do you get on a full tank im looking to get the Roadrunner 250cc and was wondering if it is worth it? I bought a dual sport chinese brand and had many problems with it. Do you have any problems with this scooter at all?
I have had it up to 70mph, but with some tweaking I could probably hit 80, but 70 is scary enough. Overall I am happy with it, it's fun to drive around town and on the highway some. If you get one, just be ready for some repair work, or know where you can get some done, cause these chinese scoots aren't perfect.
