@suebear119 they actually do get married. not officially, but enjouji buys him a ring and proposes. it was cute. then they go to a bathouse in kyoto to have their honeymoon, but Kai and Masa (his bodyguard) show up (luckily Kai has a crush on Masa and respects Ranmaru's marriage. he still dislikes Enjouji though).
