  • I loved singing this :) especially a capella <3

  • who is the composer?

  • Quirino GASPARINI (1721-1778)

  • thank you!

  • I almost went to state choir to perform at a special state event, but I got ill around auditions and couldn't participate :(

I absolutely love this song, just as much as I love singing Eli Eli, another latin song I've learned.

  • i should of sang this song in austrian tour but i got the mumps and missed the whole thing i would be on the plane home rite now

  • it sounds kinda messyy

  • This is a song, once learned...(no matter which part) will stick with you forever...

We sang this in our College Choir...It was most beautiful....(hard to learn) but once learned...tones melded together to make it sound almost Gregorian!!

    Great job

  • I sang this too and I loved singing it! ^_^

  • too slow! we sang it alittle faster and it sounded better!

  • angels sound

  • we're learning this song in my school's choir group. it's an amzing song once you know how to pronounce the words :)

they shounded amazing in this video. better than a lot of others i've seen at least. and yeah, it's supposed to be slow.

  • my shoir singing this song now.. tho we are going a bit faster, but u guys still sound really good! pretty song!

  • this is okay, but your choir delivered it slower than i think it was originally intended. my middle school choir is singing this, and we are better than this...

  • bro, no need to sound cocky. yeah, it's slow, but just cause it's slow don't mean it ain't good. honestly, i'd like to hear u do the phrasing they do at that speed.

  • uhh 1st of all, i'm a girl. 2nd of all, i wasnt trying to sound cocky, i was just making a statement. and trust me, we are hella good at this song. it's an incredible song whoever sings it, I just didn't like the tempo they sung this in

  • anyone can say they're good at something. i do agree, it's an amazing song, but there's many ways it can be done wrong. chords that supposed to be minor being made major by ear. little things people don't notice. thats why they did it at the that tempo, so they can hear tuning, any real musician would know that

  • i don't mean to be an idiot but if a choir turned a major chord into a minor chord even though major and minor chords are only one half step apart the chord wouldn't be in the key unless you where using a harmonic minor scale and even then even low level musicians and vocalist would hear that the chord was wrong at least in this song any ways

  • not really. cause they wouldn't know the difference BETWEEN a minor and a major chord. for all they know, it could be a diminished chord.

  • i highly doubt it

  • i actually love the tempo they are delivering this piece! it really allows for good delivery of the lyrics and the meaning and they stay in tune the whole time. great tone and blending as well. it was great!

  • that is really good the the middle school choir im in is trying out that song but its not exactly working well. try el est bel e bom

  • no you misunderstood. I'm saying MY choir isnt getting it not them they r good

  • I like your delivery of the song but it needs a solid sound

  • adoramus te christe

  • et benedicimus tibi. quia per sanctam crucem tuam, re demisti mundum. qui passus es pro nobis. domine miserere nobis!

i love this song so much.. i'm just not sure if re-demisti is supposed to be connected or separated. haha XD

the choir has a very pretty sound, but they could be a bit fuller... and using books is kind of grade school-ish. but other then that, you guys have a very good stand, and sound great! keep it up!
