you are absolutely right! I watched your vid 2 years ago, and just as you said everytime i learned a new word/ idiom i would see it exactly everywhere - in films, books and news. Thanks. :)
An except from David Mura's "Turning Japanese" will be on the SAT reading section this year. The Barrons SAT prep book has a passage excerpted from it.
I always forget what the word listless means, and I know I've looked it up before. I first saw it in Sherlock Holmes, and I think I've seen it twice since then.
I like to look up the origins of things more often than the meaning of words. Like when did Burger King first start, or when were doors first used?
I swear This exactly what happens to me. When I was In school I really focused on hard words and didn't know of them before. Then there they are every week of my life one month afterwards.
i have just finnished my SATs tests for year 6. I watched this and i found a word that i would of forgot if i had not watched this video thankyou for your excellent help x x x x x x
What he said in the beginning was so true. Once you guys learn a new word, you seem to recognize them with ease.

pretty persuasive! I love how he relates the cars with the words. It's kinda cool! I'm going to use it for my essay! Of course I'll give him credit.

its really simple.
he compared sports car to vocabulary.
he never seen a car like that but then there were lots of car in the next month.
its like vocab. bcoz they are "sounds cool" so people tend to say it often :)

If your username describes yourself, then you would have taken the time to look at the other videos and make a better judgement.
