  • I always forget what the word listless means, and I know I've looked it up before. I first saw it in Sherlock Holmes, and I think I've seen it twice since then.

    I like to look up the origins of things more often than the meaning of words. Like when did Burger King first start, or when were doors first used?

    he compared sports car to vocabulary.

    he never seen a car like that but then there were lots of car in the next month.

    its like vocab. bcoz they are "sounds cool" so people tend to say it often :)

  • I swear This exactly what happens to me. When I was In school I really focused on hard words and didn't know of them before. Then there they are every week of my life one month afterwards.
