Im sorry 2 all the ryan/taylor fans but it was always meant 2 be Ryan + Marissa. Mayb they werent perfect or she wasnt perfect but her family put her through a lot. + most of the time he put himself into her troubles. + unlike ryan + taylor they had this unbeatable connection which made them fall 4 each other instantly + Whenevr ryan + marissa werent dating + were then both single they always had feelings there.
The thing is, it doesn't really matter whether it was meant to be Ryan and Marissa or not. We all know it was and if MB had stayed in the show they would have ended up together. However, the actress left, so Marissa died.
Ryan was 18. He was more than likely going to fall in love again. Taylor fell for him and went for it- which I thought was so cute. Ryan needed time, but he developed feelings for her as well. It's natural and it happens. It doesn't undermine what he had with Marissa, they
were two different relationships, both equally important and meaningful for those involved.
Ryan and Taylor were, in my opinion, an incredibly sweet couple. There was love potential, mutual respect and they had fun together. Their scenes always made me smile.

Marissa just made me depressed. Not because of her sappy story but because I couldn't wait for her scenes to end. Ryan and Marissa's relationship was doomed to never work and in the process she was sucking the life out of him. I think Taylor made Ryan genuinely happy which hardly ever happened when he was with Marissa.
I dont think women comprehend that marissa is not attractive at all and is a turn off to most guys like me.
She is just to skinny.
