  • thank you for sharin that was great!

  • That was AWESOME!! Thank you so much. My baby is 10.5mths old and I have just purchased a sling online and was desperate to know how to go about nursing an older bay in a sling. Thank you so so much. Please make more vids and forget about the haters.....they're just jealous and have nothing better to do with their time. Thanks for sharing xx

  • @wog2one Thank you for encouraging word! So glad the video was helpful :)

  • Great video! Thanks for sharing. I didn't think I could nurse my 1 yo in a wrap anymore. I'll have to give it a try!

And for those that asked, you can do a wrap in a minute or less with some practice.

  • wow does it really take that long to put the moby wrap on? i want to get one for nursing my 3mo. old in when i want to get other stuff done too.

  • @giggleslotz lol... as you notice, I do a lot of talking as I wrap, so no, normally it would take me less time. But still wrapping generlly takes longer than putting other types of carriers on. The trade of is comfort. A woven wrap is about the most comfortable carrier there is :)

If you want something quicker, look into a ring sling. A lot quicker to put on, but only spreads the weight over 1 shoulder, so not as comfy in the long run.

  • @giggleslotz also, the wrap I am using in the video is not stretchy, like moby. You can wrap a moby the same way and it will only make it more comfortable, but usually people don't bother and wrap it differently, and it is somewhat faster. Still not as fast as a ring sling :)

  • Brave Baby, Going through all those complicated steps for a natural thing like breastfeeding. I don't what this women is trying to achieve by all these wraps and knots. May be she teaching how to breastfeed a toddler while climbing a mountain.

  • @egopiutube Ha-ha ;) I agree - it is better to nurse while relaxing on the comfy couch and gaze blissfully in your baby's eyes, stroking her hair and rubbing her back.. Sometimes it is not an option though, especially if you have other children to take care of. So it is very helpful to know how to nurse discretely and hands free for when you need to nurse while grocery shopping, at your older son's soccer practice, at the zoo or a museum. It's a life saver then :)

  • That is not a baby, it is a toddler

  • @JelenaVM forever and ever my baby she'll be :)

  • could you tell me which brand of sling you are using...it looks so very soft and easy to maneuver being a woven...would love to know..thanks

  • @surfgal3 I am using a gauze wrap made by yours trully, you can check out what I have at babythebaby. etsy. com. Technically it is a woven wrap (no stretch, just lotsa diagonal give). It is no match to those awesome Eropean woven wraps of course, but gauze is cheap and very airy, which is a life saver if you are broke and/or live in a warm climate.

  • It can be done in either one. But I agree, as much as I love stretchy wraps, there's no way I can wear my big baby in there. I also did ton of back carrying and this is no can do in a stretchy wrap. Non stretchy wraps rock! :)

  • Is this better with a woven non stretchy type wrap or a stretchy wrap. I havnt got one yet but my 3 mth old is fairly big (born 11lb 2oz) and I have heard from some parents in forums that moby wraps are not good once baby hits 15 lbs because they sag too much in them from the stretchyness but my little one is already more than that.... so would you recommend a stretchy or non stretchy wrap for this???

  • Thanks for this! I do a FWCC all teh time with my 18 month dd, but never thought to just lower it so easily to nurse her... WIll have to try!

  • Glad it was helpful! :)
