Okay...Too many idiots and FAR too much dick measuring going on. I have a yellow 2005 Bee. They only came as the following: Regular cab, Hemi, 5-speed auto, 3.92 gears. No 6-speed. Period. Personally, I love mine. 0-60 in 6 secs flat is quick for being done in a 6000 lbs naturally-aspirated truck sitting on 22's with nothing but intake, exhaust, and a tune.

I have quite a bit' experience with the SRT10 and I have to say I do like them but my 2 complaints are..the steering is WAY too short/twitchy at speed and it really isn't as strong as you think it should be with 500hp. With boost however the V10 Dodge goes from ok to dangerous. Nice win by the Lightening here and was to be expected.

A lightning is a 5.4 V8 engine with a supercharger. The ram is all motor no pussy power adders, And the Rams engine is a 5.7 so for a 5.7 all engine vs a 5.4 supercharged id say the ram did a pretty damn good job. If you want to make it interesting then supercharge the ram...

If you study the difference between the original 426 HEMI design vs. the new HEMI design, you will determine that the only element both designs share is valve locatoin. Other than that, they are quite different. Look up AllPar.com..... I grew up with the old 426's and the 392"s.
