  • quite chilled man good job

  • its good for a first attempt mate but a tip for 3xosc go to cut and then turn the attack down and the amount up (this is at the bottom of 3xOsc on Cut) then right click on speed i think it is or sumat the end one anyway and click 2 steps or 3 watever and it should have a wobble to it :) that sounds really good :D then put it through a filter and eq changes :) or just download reason 5.0 its MUCH better :D loool

  • @CoreyMallinsonTV thanks very much, helpful tip indeed! Im also curious as to why you say reason is better? Im not denying it, because I have no idea what reason's like, just wondering? Also how would ableton rate?

  • Great stuff man. I just kind of started producing, too, and your first attempt is way better than mine was, but mine needs to be remastered and redone.

  • what VST/synth was used?

  • @SceneXtube I used the 3x Osc and z3ta

  • @Samonasuke777 i expected the 3xOsc since i use it, nice work

  • @SceneXtube You can do practically anything with it, for such a simple plug-in it has a diverse range of uses!

  • @SceneXtube and it comes with FL which i find the best part

  • you should replace the sawtoothy/square sounding 'underbass' with a sine imo, or eq the shit out of the sawtooth so it sounds less clean/has less hi end. or possibly just mix a sine in with it. this might in turn require you to shorten or change the kick drum, or get tricky with compression, cause sine bass and that long kick are likely to clash i thinks.

otherwise verrry good for a first production... FL studio must be easy as hell to use, lol...

  • @liam9519 @liam9519 Thanks very much, this is what i really wanted to hear, some proper advise! I will get back to this soon, I'm currently working on something else though, not dubstep at all but if anyone wants a look the link is on my profile page

  • nicely done mate

you should do a heavier one now though init

just work ur way up lol

  • You should look into writing with reason. The sounds you can make with reason sound so much better than FL studio.

  • good start man. i just produced my first dubstep track also it's in my vids.

if you need any help just feel free to ask.

although i can only really help so much since i myself need some help haha

  • Bit of a slow-burner at the beginning.. could do with some more dramatic dynamics. Maybe come gradually louder and louder, then drop back to calm again.. Then into that nice synthy outro loud again.

  • Oooh i like this man pretty sweet

  • this is great but fl studios coulda had more realistic claps

  • decent mateeee.. just uploaded my own, bit dirtier sounding and lesser quality though!

  • @FapManTuuunes Thanks man, yeah it isnt heavy at all, goin for a sort of cockney violin-ish thing, but obv not half as good, will checkout your vid

  • @Samonasuke777 yeah sweet man, its sort of a futuristic dubstep, possible sub-genre? haha

yeah, be appreciated if you could leave a comment or something with a bit of feedback brah
