  • Beautiful piano! Great soul and sound. Non-metallic.

  • Beautiful playing. Who is the pianist please?

  • Col Fazioli i papaveri vengono meglio!

  • Anyone notice the lack of any sustain to the middle section of the piano??

  • @TzviErez yes, but of course every piano is different. They're all hand built.

  • The question is, is a £500,000+ Fazioli really £400,000 better than a Steinway, Bechstein or Bosendorfer?

  • @007slaney honestly I have heard a comparable sound from any steinway that's in decent shape

  • @007slaney I've never heard or played on a Bechtein, but I'm sure the Steinway and the Bösendorfer sounds are much better than that. This sound is very poor (in my opinion) compared to a Bösendorfer or a Steinway.

  • which piece is that ? its like a nocturne

  • @kutibotond -- Golly.....nobody answered yet?

It's the opening of Chopin's "Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise," which is sort of like two pieces joined together. This is the beginning of the Andante Spianato.

And you're right -- it IS basically a nocturne.

  • which piece is it from chopin?

  • You are an amazing piano player.

  • I live in Vancouver and there's a showcase of these pianos here. So I got to play on one. It sounds amazing.

  • @wishless

  • 1 Million? No!

Just 200 000 Euro but not a million!

  • @Dianolabunas almost all faziolis are €500000 that ive come across and not only is this a fazioli its a custom made one , red with a murial painted inside along with i think its 16 year warrenty lol

  • w KASNEJ DOLNEJ MOGLAM TYLKO POPATRZEC NA TO CUDO

  • The red looks quite ugly. Why is it not black?

  • It's not black because it is a special edition perhaps?

  • i wish i could have heard it in real life, the poor sound in this recording blurs out the tonal quality

  • When I get rich, I'm going to buy this one, and get i painted over in black...

  • I think it would be less complicated if you just bought it painted black...

  • i want that piano

  • Can anyone guess where in the world this kind of piano exists?

  • in italy?

  • Nice try. Guess again.

  • i thought they were manufactured in Sacile, Italy. :S lol

  • Yes, you are correct. However, Faziolis are all made by hand, and therefore no two Faziolis are alike. This piano is one of a kind, and lives in a country outside of Italy. The person who owns it right now paid $1,000,000 US for it. It's fabulous to play on.

  • wow i could imagine what it would be like to play on one amazing i bet, i would love a fazioli but unless i win the lottery i can only dream :)

  • is this the same price as the Fazioli Liminal?

  • All pianos are made by hand.

It´s not like cars which are made by robots.

Re: the piano. having money doesn´t guarantee having good taste.

  • Your statement about good taste is true, but:

    1) I wasn't talking about taste when I mentioned money.

    2) Playing on a beat up piano left out in the rain is certainly not better taste.

    3) This piano has fantastic taste. Its wonderful.

  • Maybe I haven´t seen everything life, but I don´t think that I have ever seen a beat up piano left out in the rain.

Also, There´s no accounting for taste.

  • @hkunsmann about 250 km away from where I live :D. And there's a fazioli grand in my school and I can sometimes get the room for myself and play my songs. It is sooo cool nothing can define how good they are :D
