  • I have two male pekin duck I rescued from a park that they were dumped in, unable to function out in real world they would soon be fox food. I brought them home and penned them in an old garden bed area to turn them into fertilizer factories of scrap food. They succeed there but thats all I say positive about em, they are fucking jerks that non stop harrass my chickens and now are penned up alone where they routineley kick the shit out of each other.

They have large area good food... just jerks.

  • Interesting. Two loosely related species can help each other out and we human beings (all the same species, by the way) can even be polite to each other. Yeah, who's more intelligent? It sure isn't us.

  • i bet it was that duck from Babe the white duck that is the trouble maker... xD

  • the noice the hen is making sounds like the grudge lol

  • alflac will pay for the hospital room

  • Well this is what it was like when we were doing our hospital rotations at St. Joe's,

during our under grad days. We had to do different clinics and check the patients; so I know how the ducks feel.

Did they have to fill out any birth records?

  • I'm pretty sure the ducks are just thinking "What the hell is going on?"

  • They are not midwives! They are an infertile couple. They are watching their surogate lay their babies. They are excited to start a family of their own after all these years.

  • lol soooo whos the baby daddy?

  • duck+chicken=CHUCK!

  • So sweet...............loving kindness and compassion is the natural expression of all animals that I've ever been around and observed. This little duck is one more shining example. Wishing these qualities were more developed and were naturally expressed in humans............sigh..........

My duck used to make sound and movements like that when she hates someone.

  • Ducks: Push!! Push! DO IT FAGGOT!!

    Hen: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • @MarkDudeman123 lmfaoroflmao

  • Lay egg is true!!

  • That just shows you animals have empathy. Those ducks know how hard it is to lay an egg.

  • Duck: lay that shit, then get the fuck outa here!

  • I think the hen forgot to pay the aflac insuranse and the duck went for the money...

  • I've never seen a chicken lay an egg. Its like a zero on the wtf factor. Giraffe gets a 10.

  • duck = midwife !!

  • aw i have pekin ducks, their the sweetest :)

  • Was that an Americana chicken? It looked like it layed a green egg in the close up , thats why im asking.

  • yes - I think so

  • BOOP here i am lol thats what that duck said plus i think they are geese

  • there like, "comon push!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • sweet!

  • It makes one wonder if all the talk of Increasing Consciousness is actually true..I see animals acting in a more compassionate way (like the video of one dog saving another on the freeway) or is it just that we people are being more observant of their behavior? It begs the question, I would like to believe the former.

  • me too

  • @mrmynx Camera phones are more available to regular people now. Add that to Youtube (and other file sharing sites') increased usage and you get more videos of intelligent animals around.

Of course these animals are smart, but they have had this kind of behavior for a long long time.

  • @mrmynx

dogs learn from birth how to interpret human behaviour and have an assortment of barks used for humans that they wouldn't use in the wild.

(and I'm going to nitpick here. To 'beg the question' means to 'answer with the question'. So if I was to say "Dogs are evil and should all be put to sleep" and you ask why and I reply "because they're evil" THAT'S begging the question *steps off soap box*)

  • @mrmynx its the latter. you probably have just opened your eyes for the first time.

  • what type of duck is that?

  • Pekin

  • @waywardmuse ahhh Thanks a lot =)

  • So cute and funny! I love it. :) Birdies are so silly and interesting.

  • That's A kind Duck! Nah I don't mean Donald Duck! -,-"

  • 1:25-1:28 Ducks: CONGRATULATIONS! It's... an egg!

  • There are a few different kinds of Chickens. The ones that we keep for laying eggs (young femals often called Pullets) have been developed especially to lay alot of eggs. The hen lays eggs for about 240 days of the year. Its similar to why women have a monthly cycle and not need a man around. Keep in mind that the egg is an evolutory milestone, developed so animals without the ability to gestate can reproduce. I hope this helped! ^^

  • It did. Thanks!

  • @dmitroid1

a woman passes an egg only when it's not fertilized by a male, the same that a chicken can lay eggs but without the male they aren't fertilized.

  • why dont hens need rooster to have eggs?

  • I don't really know. A good one to look up

  • @roswell333 The eggs are not fertilized. When you eat an egg there aren't any parts of the chicken in there. The egg has to be fertilized by the rooster then it uses the yolk to live off of.

  • @roswell333 acording to my science teacher the farms haves a special food for chicken to lay eggs without life inside it just for food, wen a rooster steps a chicken they have some kind of magic and can make the life its pretty weird if you ask me

  • Duck: just like we practiced, squat squat push squat breath

    Hen: it's not working!

    Duck: you're not breathing!

Hen: wait! *looks at egg* it works!

  • LOL :D

  • Phoenixs' are beautiful! I wish that I could get a phoenix but we can't have roosters.

  • Yes they are. Thanks for your comment!

  • i guess it` dr.duck :)

  • do you let the hens keep the chicks or do you eat them ?

  • We eat the eggs but not the chickens.

  • you should see how many eggs you get and only take one and keep a couple so tthe hen can rais a child i mean dont you think that will feel bad for the hen ? plus it would be fun to make another video of it hatching !

  • Actually, we did let that happen once. Got some great footage! Just haven't made it into a video yet but hope to soon. Thanks for your encouragement!

  • your welcome ! anytime !

  • Roosters don't have penis, do they?

  • yes

  • @SirianKings Well I can't think of any other way they'd fertilize the hen. lol

  • @tall32guy

    They 'kiss' using their genitals.

  • @SirianKings Umm ok. LOL

  • It's only mothers day for the chicken if she gets to hatch it.

  • yay twins!

  • lol! :52

  • hey you naive person if the ducks were queuing for the nest where was their help for that chicken?

AND PLZ STOP SENDING ME STUPID MESAGES. thanks

  • when the ducks seem to chase the chicken away one of them stops for a sip lol that made me laugh

  • @theJerryBoy911 Yep! Birdies are a lot smarter than we often tend to assume! As the video proves. hehe :)

  • No, I don't know everything about poultry, but I'm always open to learn more. I just don't underestimate animal awareness as much as most people. Animals can be much smarter than they appear and deserve more credit and respect than we give them. Thanks again for your comment!

  • Your rooster is a very pretty boy ! What breed is he ? We have several hens and ducks , and I am wanting to get a rooster , but want one that is easy on the eye -

  • Thanks! He's a Phoenix! They come in gold and silver. He's silver.

  • i believe that

  • wrong again rice krispie the hen was WARNING the Pekins to stay back they were wanting to go lay in the same nest box. if you knew a dam thing about poultry you would know this.

  • My chickens and ducks share the same nests all the time and take turns brooding on the same eggs. While there may be a definite "pecking order," there have been no fights between my ducks & hens. The roosters are the only troublemakers.

  • JOHNFLOP1 YOU are the nieve one. those two duck hens can NOT hurt a chicken hen I should know I've raised hundredes of ducks and chickens in the SAME enclosure NEVER had a problem. you all need to quit raggin on this person NO CHICKENS WERE HARMED DURING THE MAKING OF THIS VIDEO. plus Pekin ducks are NOT agressive unless they are brooding and you mess with their eggs and they still cant hurt you. now go back to your box of Cheerios they share your IQ.

  • @SHELLMADDE uhhh, ducks are violent creatures. They often bite me at the park and I have seen them main a few of my westmoreland clutch fowl.

  • go aflak!

  • haha love the title...that was funny and cute!!

  • thanks :)

  • that chicken is sooo pissed that them ducks are there u can here her at the start that noise mean get the fuck away lol

on the other hand one of them eggs could be the ducks coz my chickens love to steal each others eggs when there broody haha

  • Lmao i love this!

  • Real animal love!!

  • how sweet that is!

  • aww! so cute. how nice of the ducks :)

  • That is so sweet, God Bless you dear ducks.

  • Wow, who'd have thought that a duck could be so compassionate and caring for a fellow fowl!
