  • “Dogma voters” is the more fitting label. “Values voters” is a label invented by people who think of themselves as championing good values. What they are really pushing is dogma. Those pushing the “values voters” label hope it will help them pass off their dogma as values. They are free to push their dogma, but “dogma voters” they are, and that’s what I’ll call them.

  • i love it @maddow! coo coo fopr cocoa puff senators!

  • Alan Keyes is a total crackpot, proof that right wing theocon retardation is not just a white thing

  • Yes am a Man and I love Rachel. I would like to Kiss Her :) she's so full of fun and I love Her activeness. She's good looking, smart and Have Her own Point of View on things which I agree with 99% of the time :) I love her :)..

  • John Cox? is his middle name likes?

  • she's so full of shit her eyes are brown

  • My Libyan penis will change her mind.

  • @MuammarAlGathafi your faith in your penis is as over rated as your faith in your god and they are both just as usless. Just the sight of your Libyan penis would scar her for life and will make sure she is a lesbian for the rest of her life, I know that is what would happen to me.

  • @fireflygirl246 Thanks for deflating my ego, and my penis.

  • @MuammarAlGathafi anytime I'm here to please.

  • @fireflygirl246 hahaha. that was great.

-- for the record, gotta say rachel maddow is fucking awesome, but old school rachel is even better.

  • She could wear this bulldyke close when she was on the radio. She got slightlt femmed up for TV now

  • Typical Liberal, when you don't agree with someone, just call them nuts!!!!

Rev. Wright said the same thing. God Dam America. I thought he was Obama's friend.

  • Rachel, how's that Air America radio gig working out?

  • God, she's great!

  • maybe John Cox wants cocks?????

  • I'm so used to seeing her stuck behind a desk and not moving around so much. She's so hyper!

  • wing-nutty wingnutville!!!

  • Alan Keyes is really scary. He seems like a catoony evil Disney villain.. His eyeeess, he'd be a snake or something..

  • Yeah, like Voldemort turned black with some graphic computer software...

  • Well I never thought of him as Voldemort but now you mention it, wasn't there a bit where he had really scary eyes in the back of his head? The look in his eyes definitely is the creepiest part.

and we got thumbed down? Does that mean people don't find him creepy? Have they seen some of the worse stuff he's said?! I've heard people say nasty things before but never with such powerful hatred it seemed.. The Phelps' are nothing like as frightening in their delivery (content is obviously worse)

  • The funniest thing about Fred Phelps is that he can call Ellen and Nimoy as "degenerate", "fag" and "dyke" but at the same time address them as "dear friends"... There's a clip of him doing just that somewhere on this website. Quite hilarious.

  • she has such a lovely smile at 3:27

  • She has a lovely smile all the time.

  • lol okay, but an EVEN lovelier smile at 3:27 then :p or perhaps just a different one to usual

  • She's kinda cute, a bit like a femme Noah Wylie...

  • yes! yes! I thought the same thing! now if we could've gotten her on ER as Wylie's long lost twin.....XD

  • Ha! That would have been fab... the long lost politically inclined lesbian twin... I would have watched that. Maybe she could have a fling with Weaver...?

  • Nah, she's way more butch than Noah...

    Still cutem though...

  • And this is a problem?

  • Is there a right wing in America anymore?

I mean from some of the sentiments shown by people from ,'the right', I would think if they were anymore right wing, they would be fucking NAzis'!

What you guys call right wing is marginalized in england, as racists & facists... murdock knows this, so he leaves the brit press to it... more or less...

How did you get to a stage in Amercia where people like Coulter, Hanitty can even get on television?

  • Looking at the state of extreme right groups and parties in Europe, I don't think America is alone. And the extreme left in England is really a mirror image of the extreme right in USA. They just hate Israelis instead of Arabs, but it's the same rhetoric, same hatered.

  • Not really, they dont lie, call for the death of israel or isralies, the only example of an extreme right group in england... anti animal testing groups... anarchist, but these groups also are marginalised by the british media... where as examples of extreme right wing... well, I can roll out a long list for you.

So I conclude your just wishing to insert your own political and religious bias into this discussion.

    In short, your talking bullshit...

  • No, I dont speak for Europe, only my experience & prespective in London.

There is no extreme left in England, you have no moral compass!

The only extreme left groups I can think of in England are, animal activists & anarchists, both of which are marginalised by the press, can you name any in the mainstream?

I suspect you know nothing of what your talking about, and just wish to voice your political & religious miscontent into an indrectly related discussion, of which I have no time for.

  • HAHAHAHAHA she is effin HOT!

  • dayum she's gay!

  • um, so you like 10 y/o little boys? lol. LOL.

    thanks for the laugh. seriously.

  • Haha! That first guy looks like mr. Burns!

  • He sounds like him too! :)

  • I'm convinced Alan Keyes is mentally retarded.

  • whoa. alan keyes is a fucking loon.

please put his restraints back on. and his muzzle.

  • So... which is it? Both or neither?

  • That isn't fair to the American Christians who aren't like that. And a lot of American Christians are not like that. Unfortunately, the ones who are make a lot of noise, and give the rest of Christianity a black eye.

Which is why you feel the need to draw that line. Well, it needs to be drawn between "Christians" (including American Christians) and "the Christian Right," which in addition to hating science and education, also hates America and considers the nation unworthy of God's blessing.

  • no kidding.

  • Alan Keyes is a PSYCHO! Before there was a government there was a god-given family? Apparently not Mr. Anthropologcally challenged right-wing Jesus-tard. He would do well to research before he goes spouting verifiable nonsense.

  • When Jeremiah Write said "God damn America," everybody in the whole wide world saw it over and over again. The media made sure that unless you were living under a rock... on Mars... you knew that Jeremiah Write had said "God damn America." Obama was nowhere near Write when he said that, but don't worry: the media made sure the connection was made.

  • When an entire CHOIR sings "Why Should God Bless America?" DIRECTLY TO the Republican candidates, I have to get it from Rachel Maddow months after the fact because the media just didn't bother to mention it.

If anybody still believes in the "liberal media," I have a bridge I want to sell you. It's under a rock... on Mars...

  • i believe in the liberal media and no, don't bother trying to sell me something. your on the slanted left, of course you have no clue.

  • Some people believe in Bigfoot, too. Of course, there's more evidence for Bigfoot's existence than for "the liberal media."

For instance: how come "the liberal media" never told us about this entire choir singing Why Should God Bless America directly to the the Republican candidates? A media that favors the left surely would not have lost such a golden opportunity to point out that Republican uber-patriotism is a load of crap.

No, I have to get it from Rachel Maddow, who really is a liberal.

  • Why did the mainstream media not cover this event and this song?

Why did the mainstream media show us Jeremiah Write shouting "God damn America" over and over and over and over and...

Please answer these two questions. No cliffs, air heads jokes, or discussions of business success or failure, just this:

Why did the mainstream media not cover this event and this song?

Why did the mainstream media show us Jeremiah Write shouting "God damn America" over and over and over and over and...

  • ask them SailorBarsoom. i'm not going to try to answer for the incomptent left leaning media. why didn't they show us a lot of things ? go interview them , found out.

  • no answer

    conversation over

  • good. nothing to accomplish by trying to debate someone who's ignorant and uneducated.

you want answers about the left leaning media

    SailorBarsoom, ask them.

if you are too lazy to do that, your right, go away.

  • Rachel; you are driving me crazy!

  • simply simply beautyfull..i love rachel madow 4ver..she highly educated+life experience=she is the one yhx7=love u rachel from the netherland Shaiiwn

  • Hey Bearfjord, Your candidate is weak and stands no chance without Hillary on the ticket. I hope she doesn't take the VP spot because I would rather her run and win in 2012.

  • Who do you think my candidate is? I'm a republican-I'm voting for McCain. I would have voted for Obama if Romnie(the stiff) or Huckabee(the bible-thumper)won. I like Obama at some level..he is way better then a Clinton. For Obama to be seen as "in control" and "strong", he can not go with Hillery ..sorry. Hey, isn't the world supposed to end in 2012? ;)

  • OHHH, your one of those non-religious Republicans...I thought all of you guys were in the Libertarian Party and were Ron Paul supporters. BTW Ron Paul is my first choice for President. Second is Hillary.

  • you're smart

  • rachel maddow is soooooo hot!

  • If you're dad is a crazy, bible-thumping, intolerant homophobe, then you are obliged to be a lesbian and refer to yourself as a "liberal queer". Way to go, Maya Keyes!

  • I would love Rachel long time gay or not... love her bunches

  • why must you be a racist piece of shit? an uninformed argument is an ignorant argument. you are a perfect example of what is wrong with this country!

  • Wow... A choir sings that and Rev. Wright gets blasted on TV for saying God Damn America... Man talk about a double standard.

  • The strange thing is that MLK said a similar thing in the Vietnam era, that God would rise up and break the backbone of America for killing a bunch of people, and none of the pundits could have gotten away with blasting him. The MSM hurts my head.

  • Ha She ain't even close to being done. Tonight she just won Kentucky by 35 points. I'm waiting to hear about Oregon, but I bet she has closed the gap even in that liberal state. Obama can't win in November...he hasn't connected with middle america. I know this hard for you Obama nut huggers to understand, but you canidate is weak. Black voters and college professors won't give the needed numbers to win in November. Write it down, put it on your mirror OBAMA WILL LOSE IN NOVEMBER.

  • andrewjhartman1 - How were your math grades in school? Hillary is over! I'm not a "Obama nut hugger" as you said but I do see the guy being a great president. I don't agree with him but that is ok. I'm voting for McCain. I voted for McCain eight years ago! Because the democratic party is so arrogant and left minded, that is why Bush got elected in the first place. You dems shoot yourselves every time.

  • She's done as done is! Her big"reach-out clapping"for us poor poor"simple"folk and crazy-faced smile is done!! Goodbye! She is a fraud in the worst way. She has no chance. I'm voting for McCain! Democrats have to move from the far-left for votes.

  • I am not entirely sure how pointing out that the far religious right is full of crazy people, and that most if not all of the republican candidates have to play ball with them qualifies as anything like what you are talking about.

  • andrewj- DONE

  • GoodBye Hillary!!! GoodBye!!!!!!!!!!!

iamsilverback- True, Olbermann is a bag of chum! Rachel is out of touch with main America --news to you? I don't care how comfortable Rachel is in her own skin, she is way off! McCain is the only way.

  • SHHHHHHH Be very quite...SHHHH....can you hear that sound Rachel? That is the sound of MOMENTUM. Earth shaking, pundit breaking MOMENTUM. Hillary is back in the house! West Virginia numbers just came in tonight. You and your bought and paid for GE "reporters" are looking kinda foolish. On a serious note Rachel...don't you see what is going on around you at that circus? Matthews and Olbermann spout BS spin all day. I never thought I would say it, but Pat B. rocks.

  • Seriously? Give me the math... show me how Hillary Clinton wins 2025 delegates and, thus, the nomination.

Stick a fork in Hillary, she's done.

  • i think this is a woman.

  • Seems like ALANKEYSS1 is gone. Too bad, some smart stuff said. Please please, don't let comrade Maddow tell you how to think! This person is so wrong even if she is well educated ..remember the professors..left left and way left (maybe the janitor is republican). Don't buy the crap.

  • This is so true. They're still using Jeremiah Wright to beat up Obama, but these fools stood there as they sung that song. Why weren't they forced to denounce and repudiate the whole debate? Ugh... I hate hypocrisy.

  • Barack said in his PHILLYSPEECH on Race when the Wright dvds 1st emerged, that he is behind Rev. and that he cannot disown him.

Now all of a sudden when hes starting to really slip and loose all his momentum, he realizes this Wright situation is much more damaging than he 1st thought, he says that he Now wants NOTHING to do with Wright and he is totally dis Associating himself from Him and he totally cut off all ties to him.

But i thought Barack was different ? Nah just another phony

  • Alan Keyes is very eloquent, right up there with Obama as far as I'm concerned, but he is a very special flavor of batshit crazy. If only his powers were used for good.

  • DblOSmith - Obama is in a league far ahead of Keyes. I'm a moderate Republican and even I can not like Obama. Good comments.

  • Obama is a total Lightweight and a classic 'Empty Suit' . He Offers NOTHING. Hes all Hype and Style with No substance. He speaks to the American People as if everyone was 12 yrs old. He is embarassing to Listen to and i cringe everytime he Mentions HOPE and CHANGE which by the way is every 2 mins.

He isnt going to change ANYTHING. He is Never Specific on Anything, just all General Sweet sounding platitudes that lead NOWHERE. He is Nothing but a Pure Political Opportunist.

  • Alan Keyes and his own "God-Ordained Family" with his God-Ordained Gay Daughter?

  • Alan Keyes is crazy.

  • Say what you want about KEYES, that does Not change the Fact that Obama is a fraud with a terrible Racist Hate filled Pastor and close Mentor and Friend for 20 yrs, 20 FULL YEARS ! who just may have RUINED Baracks Political Career.

Now we know the REAL Barack, a man who has horrible deficient judgment by Aligning himself with a total Radical Liberal Loon in Wright. Barack is in serious trouble

  • Rachel Maddow i'm a big fan of yours.

  • Rachel maddow is briliant and funny. She does not fall back on talking points like many other talking heads.

  • Matthew Brodrick wants his looks back! I'm just starting with this horrid personality.

  • gofthunder-"Matthew Brodrick wants his looks back! I'm just starting with this horrid personality."

Yes I have seen your comments on other videos. All of which obsess about Maddow not conforming to gender stereotypes.

Oh except for the one where you insist you don't care about her sexuality.

Perhaps it is indeed appropriate that you post HERE on this video. what better way to make Maddow's point for her.

  • can some one plz turn her HETRO

  • rachel maddow for vice chancellor

  • I love this lady. She has looked so good lately that I'm jealous that she's a lesbian.

  • One of the best parts of Keith Olberman's show is when she is on. She just tells the truth.

  • That's what I've been saying since I first saw her on Countdown!

She needs her own show. I told MSNBC that lol

  • Well she does now.

  • Rachel Maddow for President! No wait, Vice President and then President.

  • WHY why oh why can't that video (choir singing the anti-american song) be shown all over on all the networks? Absolutely mind blowing hypocrisy of the right wingers

  • Kudos to Maddow. She practically predicted the Wright blowup and predicted the media's blatant conservative bias in these matters.

  • That song is unAmerican and all the candidates that were there are traitors! And where were their flag pins! Good God, where were the flag pins????

  • Ha! Good use of hyperbole.

  • I wish Rachel Maddow played on my team. I think she's sexy...

Either way, her message stands. We need to play hardball and call the Repugs out on their hypocrisy, their corruption, and their lying / cheating / stealing ways. They've clearly become a parody of themselves and "conservativism".

  • Response to a perplexing earlier comment aside, great episode, Rachel. And they have the nerve to say liberals are anti-American..

  • Yes she is...and she did... Rachel Rocks!

  • wow, you have a way with words...a sodomite??? news flash, she is not a homosexual man..

Rachel, you do rock, keep the intelligence flowing to us, we need to hear the truth from somewhere!!!

  • wow, you have a way with words...a sodomite??? news flash, she is not a homosexual man..

Rachel, you do rock, keep the intelligence flowing to us, we need to hear the truth from somewhere!!!

  • The term applies across the board.

  • At least she tells the truth and serves it straight up.

It's better than your absolute failure of a President Bush, "sodomite" "hypocrites" like Republican Ted Haggart, Republican Jeff Gannon, etc.

George Bush bankrupted his failed Texarcana Company when he was the CEO, and he almost bankrupted the USA.

Thankfully, Democrats are here to help us out of Another Republican Failure (his Dad is another Republican failure).

Republicans=Failure, anyone that tells you otherwise is selling something.

  • Hilarious shit! These whack job Christians provide some great comedy.

  • Alan Keyes is a fuckin' joke!!! I love Rachael Maddow!!!

  • The day I started reading the scripture was the day I stopped being a Christian. It lied to me from its opening words. How can god have a vast expanse of water before he created light (sun)?

Thank goodness we have common sense like rachel.

  • Rachel is cool and hot...

  • sanctuary from the spin? you're spinning out of control like O'Reilly

  • So what exactly is your point? You criticized the candidates on their statements, but you offer none of your own.

  • Too funny ... and disturbing. So true that if anyone on the left had done to a patriotic song what the Christian Taliban did to it in this clip, there would be a resolution on the floor of Congress and it would be splashed across the "liberal media." Thanks, Rachel!

  • Call me an idiot and give my comments the thumbs down all you like. At least I care about people and want the best for our society. It's sad for me to see that most of the people commenting here are either very deluded or have become so callous and black-hearted that they really think the Mt. Soledad cross is more of an offense to our nation than eighty million dead babies and the complete destruction of our culture.

  • If you care about people then you are completely involved with the wrong political party. The Democratic Party cares FAR more about people (and babies), our society, our country, our ecosystems, and our world than Republicans who are out for themselves and themselves alone, and play on people's greeds, fears, hatreds, intolerance, and desire to force others into their way of life. Dems believe as our founding fathers, that religion and the state should remain separate for the good of both.

  • The term "Separation of Church and State" came from a letter written to the Danbury Baptists assuring them that government would not be able to intrude on their religious practices. It certainly wasn't written to warn them to keep their faith out of the public square. Of course, that term isn't in the Constitution anyway, but I solidly agree with the sentiments behind its original usage. Obviously it's being misused today though, which is clear to anyone knowledgeable about our nation's history.

  • If we're going to be honest about the founders' understanding of the first amendment we need to acknowledge that during their time it was considered Constitutional for Congress to grant public land to Christian groups for missions in the west, to print Bibles for use in schools, and to even prohibit people from working on Sunday all without violating the establishment clause as originally understood. Ben Franklin was fairly Liberal and even he wanted Bible study in public schools to be mandatory

  • Who said anything about preventing anyone's religion in the public square? So long as ALL religions are equally welcome to provide displays or speak their mind. What is disallowed by the Constitution, as the founding fathers intended, is any government promotion of a particular religion, including government sponsored overtly sectarian displays (e.g. massive ten commandment monuments placed alone in a court house lobby, public school conducted prayer, etc...)

  • The founders came from a post-reformation Europe in which monarchs would adopt a particular Christian denomination and persecute all other non-conforming Christians. They wanted to avoid this in America by treating all Christian denominations equally, and this was clearly the intent behind the First Amendment. When they had church services in Congress or appointed military chaplains or anything of that sort, they would always do so with equal regard to all Christian religions.

  • This was not to be an Anglican nation, or a Catholic nation, or a Congregationalist nation, but one that would be religiously plural. Confusion arises when people try to understand the intent behind the religious clauses of the First Amendment because many don't understand what the word "religion" meant at the time of its writing. Foreign belief systems like Islam and Buddhism were not a part of the consideration. It simply referred to the various Christian denominations.

  • Don't get me wrong, the First Amendment protects anyone's right to practice any faith they want or none at all. I just want us to be honest about the meaning of the First Amendment as originally understood. Intentional misinterpretation of the Constitution in order to decrease Christian influence in society has led to the unfortunate polarization we see today.

  • No, the polarization has come from fundamentalist Christians imposing and continually trying to impose their religious beliefs onto others via law. This was NOT intended to be a Christian Nation, or the Constitution would have clearly specified so. The founders were WELL aware of non-Christian religions back then. Many founding fathers were not Christians. Thomas Jefferson, James Madison & George Washington stated this is not a Christian nation. "In God we Trust" came DECADES after our founding.

  • Correct.

  • If that were the case then they would have VERY clearly specified in the Constitution that Christianity held an elevated role above any other religions or belief systems. They did not They made it clear that there was to be a division between the church and the state so that neither would corrupt the other. The state won't impinge on religious practices (unless its like human sacrifice or trying to force ones religion on others), and the church won't try to make its religious doctrine into law.

  • I imagine you really believe the Democrats care more about people, but the reality is they just want to segment society into groups and classes in order to play one against the other as a means of acquiring more power and control. Both parties are corrupt, but the Dems are beyond any hope of rescue at this point.

  • Your main concern is that the Democrats are much more disinclined to impose your specific religious beliefs onto every single individual in America. Democrats believe such deeply personal decisions should be left to the individual. Other than that, while the Republicans are much more likely to pull the wool over your eyes by providing lip service to fundamentalists, their policies are SIGNIFICANTLY more anti-Christian (and by Christian I mean of and like Jesus Christ).

  • What's anti-Christian about promoting life, marriage, and lower taxes? That's exactly what Jesus did. Do you think liberals care more for the poor? It seems to me that many liberals don't want to be personally bothered with charity and helping others, they would rather just create government programs instead and tax other people to pay for it. Then they take credit for being compassionate while making money off of the whole enterprise.

  • Look, Jesus was more than just a good teacher. God came to the earth as a man and paid the penalty for your sins and mine on the cross. He offers you salvation freely if you place your faith in Him and repent of your sins. That being said, I don't want the government to force you to be a Christian. That would be unjust, and a forced faith isn't legitimate anyway. I do, however, hope that someday you will choose of your own accord to put your trust in Him and let Him change your heart.

  • if Jesus was God, then why he worshiped God? and if Jesus was God, how a God can die? i respect Jesus way too much (maybe more than you do in sense of NOT distorting his message). But it would be nice to have a reply from you.

  • If you read the Scriptures you will find that God has revealed Himself in three forms: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three persons of the Trinity make up the One True God. Jesus came as the human incarnation of God and is fully human and fully God. He came, not only to die for our sins, but also to provide us with an example of how we are to live. He directed praise to the Father and taught us to follow in like manner, but He also received praise and worship, because He is equally God.

  • Many prophesies were written centuries before Christ's birth revealing that God would come to this earth in physical form. The prophet Isaiah wrote that the virgin would give birth to a son, who would be called Emmanuel, which means "God with us". Jesus' disciples knew He was God. For example, Thomas calls Him, "My Lord and my God" in John 20:28. Jesus openly revealed His divinity in John 8, and the Pharisees wanted to stone Him on the spot.

  • To answer your other question, Jesus could easily have chosen not to die, but He willingly laid down His life, because that was the only way we could be justified before God. Mankind has completely separated itself from God by its sinfulness and we owe a debt that is simply too great to pay on our own. We deserved death, but Christ took our punishment, and if we put our faith in Him and turn from sin, He offers us eternal life.

  • This is not a distortion of His message at all and if you really respect Him, please read the Gospels for yourself. Then you will find that what I'm saying is true.

  • he's the same person

  • Nice misrepresentation of the liberal agenda.

  • Age of consent lowered to 12!!! Well that would sure keep A LOT of Republicans on the legal side of the law.

  • I really don't care whether it's a morally deficient Republican or a morally deficient Democrat who wants to engage in such behavior. It shouldn't be allowed, and that is my point. We should never elect politicians who cater to groups that are actively working to normalize such things. Is that so difficult to agree with?

  • Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of our Supreme Court Justices thanks to President Clinton, has openly expressed her support of lowering the age of consent to 12 as well as the legalization of Prostitution. Bill Clinton was supposedly a more moderate Democrat, but he had no qualms about bowing to the ACLU when it came time, despite the fact that Ginsburg held such far left views that would make most decent Democrats cringe.

  • You see, that's the danger here... any Democrat elected is in a position that forces them to cater to the special interests dead set on changing our society in these sort of very worring ways. There are serious problems with the Republican party too, don't get me wrong. They are just the lesser of two evils.

  • *worrying

  • CPatriot333 you're a first class idiot. The party of war, death, destruction, regression, oppression, theocracy, greed, hatred, and fear, the Republican party is NOT the lesser of two evils. And your ignorant statements about Clinton really show where you are coming from. STOP obsessing over SEX you jackass!!! Particularly OTHER PEOPLE'S SEX!! You're only driving yourself and society mental. War, Death, Destruction, and Greed is less evil than sex. NOW I've heard it all.

  • It never ceases to amaze me how deluded some people can become. I suppose it's convenient for you to forget that both parties supported this war. Obviously the Democrats had to turn against it for political reasons. The Republicans turned against Clinton's war in Bosnia as well. That's just politics. The Dems have got us involved in more wars overall in history anyway, so you're obviously mistaken.

  • Secondly, you think the Republicans are the party of death? Who supports infanticide, euthanasia, and Hitleresque eugenics? Again, you have the wrong party. The Democrats are certainly more aptly called the party of death. Also, I am against greed as well, but it is preferable to allow it to manifest in the free market rather than in the government. Unfortunately, greedy government is built by liberals in both parties, but at least the Republicans try to cut taxes and throttle government growth.

  • The only ones who are deluded are right wing nut cases. Republicans ARE the party of death. Their policies promote it at home and abroad not only in just war but also environmental/ecosystem destruction, increasing poverty, social inequity, intolerance, and the resulting human conflict. Democrats oppose abortion but agree with most Americans that the government should stay OFF people's bodies. Poverty leads to abortion. Abortions went down every year under Clinton, UP every year under Bush.

  • Democrats do NOT oppose abortion... please, who are you trying to kid? Most will fight even against limitations on it such as the partial birth abortion ban. Most Democrats are fine with the aborting of Down syndrome kids and other forms of selective breeding, just like Hitler was. Likewise, anytime you hear some nut congressman wants to make it illegal for schools to inform parents that their 13 year old daughter is pregnant and getting an abortion, you know it's a Democrat without fail.

  • Yeah, Democrats JUST LOVE abortions and want everyone to have at least one! Get real. I'm a Dem, *I* oppose abortion, AND I'm Pro-Choice. Dems have NOT promoted the aborting of disabled babies, nor encourage it, but would leave the choice to the woman (to a point). Republicans believe in VERY late term abortions (death "penalty" after birth!) Dems are much more inclined to provide help to families with disabled children, and provide societal structures that prevent death-penalty eligible crimes

  • Republicans cut taxes and throttle government growth!!! LOL. What Kool-Aide are you drinking? THE largest government growth in the last 30 years have happened under Republican administrations, Reagan, Bush, and Bush Jr, who've seen our debt and deficits SOAR! Republicans are the party of greed. They have NO appreciation or understanding of the interrelationship of all societies members. EVERY last billion dollar they earn was earned ALL by themselves, as far as they're concerned.
