@ConejoZing whoa, a GTI will blow a Civic Si out of the water any day. The Si has 70 less ft-lbs of torque and less horsepower. Not even a comparison there buddy.

@msquayle The Si is like 300lbs lighter though. The weight makes up for the lack of performance, that's why they have similar numbers. But GTI has much better interior, however to max the car out you'll go over 30k. I'd say it's a close comparison if you are looking directly at performance numbers.

@ConejoZing You know thats funny, and when those ads were new the Si kept winning because it was faster. I drove both and I'd take the VW any day. Driving an Si was like driving a card board box......boring!
