The man alone to impress the audience is too much a challenge for Fung. Like they said," It takes two to tango ! " Have Anna done that to the team yet? In my opinon, she has not been. poor performance. no connection between the dancers, they are not fitting their character, and seems to me they're only worried about technique rather than than projecting the performance as a whole.
@Centuari If you watched their other tango routines from other comps, this version is much, much simpler. I mean, they are doing 2 walks and progressive link everywhere. The only advanced things you see are Fallaway Slip Pivot, Pivots, and Spanish Drag.

It's Victor Fung we're talking about, he can do good technique with a crappy routine and still beat people.
Sure, it might've not been one of their best performances, but can you do better?

what do you mean "crappy routine"? there's no need to run around at 800 MPH just to prove you can do tango. this is a great routine!

I love it. They're doing almost a syllabus routine just to show they can beat the other pros by doing basics!

There is an awful lot of not syllabus in that...
That being said they tend to like simple coreography and dance similar stuff at all the big events.
