"River Stay Away from My Door" isn't a Fiona Apple song. It's by Mort Dixon and Harry Woods, and is most closely associated with Frank Sinatra. It's one of the greatest singles he recorded for Capitol Records in 1960 as part of the "Nice n' Easy" sessions. Dixon and Woods aren't that well known anymore. They were tin pan alley guys in the 20s and 30s.
