  • My mammy always sings this to me ^_^

  • Years ago I was a Driving Examiner Itook her for her driving test, but did not recognize her she used her real name.for the test in Southall.

she is still a good singer

  • Sandie's a good singer, great voice. This version is nice, but i prefer the Mantovani

    instrumental version.

If I didn't know this was Sandie Shaw, I'd swear it was Dusty Springfield! The voice is pretty close to Dusty's though not 100 percent.

  • Mantovani and Paul Mauriat both did instrumental versions of this song. But who did it first? Perhaps Mantovani did it first?

  • My mom played this to me in the car the other day, and she told me "I used to sing this to myself on the swings at the park." and all I said was "This sounds like Lily Allen."

  • Other versions: Mantovanti and Paul Mauriat(both instrumental, and both great).

  • Never knew there were words to this song! I'm so used to Paul Mauriat's instrumental version. Anyhow, great find!

  • A WONDERFUL VOICE ... EACH WORD SO INTERESTING.

    Joy.

  • oh the good days no swearing pure good words where u can understand a decent song bring back the old days.

  • catchy tune

  • oh this song brings back memories..i was in Ettlingen (Rheinland Kaserne). you would hear this song at discos and bars...es war so wunderbar..alex von Texas

  • I love you madly!

  • @coolcat20million

But that will only work if you are the "you" referenced in the song. Is your scarf apricot?

  • super

  • I knew Lilly Allen's song reminded me of something.
