Calling it Augmented Reality is misleading and sort of wrong.

There is nothing "reality" about getting scripted information from a portable device, based on location. Certainly not in the way that Augmented Reality is meant too.

Augmented Reality involves a live video image, where data or 3D objects are placed over the video, using tracking systems, and sometimes advanced real-world-recognizing software, which moves the corresponding data/objects with your movements.

This is neat, but not AR.
