To anyone covering the...a tip of advice...the way to catch the audience is the ending (I love him..I love him...I love him..but only on my own). The trick is to make it soft, like a whisper. Make it soft and melodic...it'll make your audience cry. And fade out "own.."

@me1emma1b Actually, the tune comes from the song L'Aire de La Misair (sorry for the bad spelling) which is sung by Fantine in the original French soundtrack. If you can learn French, you may be able to sing both songs in one character. :)

Ya know, making my voice loud enough for everyone to hear, not just the chorus teacher standing about a foot away. It's sad, really. I can belt almost anything when no one's watching. But the minute I stand up in front of my chorus class, I choke up. I had to close my eyes during my first singing test so I couldn't see everyone staring at me. Why am I so quiet? :(
