I was wondering if Vegas has the ability to do auto crossfades on the still photos once they are entered into the timeline?  Or is this something that must be done prior to bringing the photos from the media bin to the timeline? Just trying to save some time from doing each photo individually. Thanks.

Well, if its an .avi file then its only going to come up as audio. So you will need to convert it with a video converter into WMV (that's what I usually do).

I think the best free video converter is "Any Video Converter". I use it all the time. 100% virus free. I sware.
