I was wiggling my ears to pull up my glasses for nine years... had no idea until my mom pointed it out. Nobody else in my family can do it, so I have no clue where I got it from.
Im 16 and Ive been wiggling my ears for the past week without even knowing it was my ears! xD I have been pretty bored for the past couple days, I wear these heavy plastic Ray Ban frames and from time to time they would fall a bit down my nose, I guess my face kinda just wanted to align them up a bit. It feels like Im sucking in from the bridge of my nose, think Im probably the first person in my entire family who can wiggle their ears.
Guess Ill try to impress some girls now with my ears lol
haha thats cool. we were talking about it in science class, and you cant learn it its a vestigial structure from when humans hunted and needed to move their ears (like dogs). you cant learn it, people who can do it just still have the trait, its hereditary
I remember being able to do it very slowly... then naturally. Then I learned how to do it separately. One at a time. It is now some kind of weird tick I have :D
Vestigial Organs to move your ears, something that human has lost..... But still there is some muscle left. Train it and u will be abel to move your ears (a little)\
It's no coincidence that you also have a well defined facial structure. Having strong occipitalis muscles behind the ears also pulls and tightens the facial muscles.
I'm 20 and I just learned how to do that while driving in my car. First I could only to it with the left, eventually I figured out how to do both, and lastly just the right alone.
