love my pa-63...great gun ive fired about 500 rounds through mine of shit brown bear ammo without any failures. I did have a few failures with hollow points but hey its not like im carrying it. Fun to shoot though

Yeah, they are a high caliber, high maintenance, highly inaccurate weapon. Just because the desert eagle is used in Hollywood doesn't make good. It's a good collectors piece though.

Aside from that, the sheer size and weight of .50AE brass makes the Desert Eagle incredibly easy to stove pipe jam, which can be deadly if someone is shooting at you. In general, it's a heavier pistol as well, which is of course subjective, but you had better be damn comfortable and perfect with a weapon in a life or death situation. "Worthless" maybe was too strong of a word, but: (space)

Most people could fill you with 5-6 accurate 9mm rounds by the time your second .50 AE goes off (and probably misses.) There's lots of factors going on here, but it's a cool gun in Hollywood and video games... not really the first gun you should grab for a real gun fight. It's kind of a "show off" gun.

Ok dude, just becuase police does not use a pistol does not mean they are bad ones. the jericko is a great pistol it has the ergonomics of the CZ-75 first edition with the slide running on butter. the .41 magnum v=caliber version is a great pistol for both hunting and personal carry and home defence.

Okay dude i looked at the reviews of the JERRIKO and they are good reviews but....... I personally would buy another COLT 45, SPringfield, RUGER, or GLOCK model over anything else. Also in pistol competitions like the NRA BIANCHI CUP I think they used more SPRINGFIELD & COLT customized autos than any other model. Not only LAW enforement but also CIVILIAN usage of the COLT/SPRINGFIELD AUTOS are rather MORE POPULAR. In conclusion Springfield & COLT autos are more popular.

I got a baby desert eagle .45 in brushed chrome. Little heavy, but shoots dead on at 25 yrds. Looks nice as shit also, I like all metal guns. Though glocks are tough. I got a ruger p95 also, was my first handgun.

To anwser someones question you get a LTCF( License to carry firearms) at your County sharrif office( Mine is in the County courthouse ) An here in PA it cost 30 bucks for a laminated copy

Berettas i have never been a fan of, the ones i have shot jammed alot, im not sure if it was the mags or not. And to answer your question tonyloc13, in the state of maine to get your ccw, you need to take a 8 hour class that covers the basics, you take a written test, and qualify with a 50 round shooting test. Then you get your paper that says you took it, you then go to your local police dept, and get the form, it usually take a few weeks to come back and its about 20 bucks or so.

Those pa-63s are good little guns. everyone says they hardly ever jam if you use fmj stuff, but the jhp stuff sometimes doesn't feed well. I've put a couple hundred rounds of fmj through mine and haven't had any problems. i'm really satisfied with it. I paid $115 for ir. money well spent. sorry to hear yours isn't working out as well for you :(
