You had to be around in 1968 to realize how audacious, off the wall, and outlandish this really was. The war was less than 25 years in the past. My dad was a WWII vet who'd fought in North Africa, Belgium, France and Germany to whom Hitler was no laughing matter...but he rolled with laughter when he saw these play scenes.
