  • I concur with Mr. Rubio and I too come from an Hispanic/Latino background! As a 4th generation Chicano I want nothing more than to see illegal immigration enforced and those like my forefathers who wanted citizenship followed the rules and became Americans legally! They were migrant workers and farmers and made all our lives fruitful and meaningful! Those who chose to break the laws and come into this country illegally deserve no considerations, no rights, and should leave NOW! Hooah!

  • No sir "bolger", Spending is done YEAR TO YEAR. Adjusted on a baseline budget which must be approved each time. Thats why the government 'shut down' in 1994.

    We don't "Spend money" on tax cuts. The money belongs to the people who earned it. The feds certainly don't spend it better, like the failed 887 billion dollar "stimulus" which was just a political payoff.

    Glad we slapped that one on our kids huh? What republicans were part of that one?

    You obviously are confusing tax revenues with spending. The two are only related in that they both appear on CBO reports.

    Unlike every single business and household in the world, Congress spends all it wants (and then some) then much later looks at what was taken in.

    In fact, Congress spends all the tax money for the NEXT year. The Federal reserve bank *lends* the money until it can be repaid. The deficit is how much was not paid back.

  • @medlock01 incorrect, when one has a budget, taxes COLLECTED go TOWARDS that budget year. If certain Taxes, say the top 3% are NOT collected, & were GIVEN as a CUT, the line item for that BUDGET is now an EXPENSE. You didn't PAY FOR THOSE CUTS. If you did, the amount "to be collected" would be there. It wasn't, & still isn't. Please go to any accounting 101 or budgeting class. They can help you understand...

The 2nd amendment ensures States can protect themselves by being armed so the argument of "Well the Federal government isn't doing their job" is covered under the 2nd amendment. These people need a serious education on the Constitution before they wave it around screaming "Read it cause I'm going to enforce it!". Learn it 1st!

Furthermore, the 14th Amendment, as you quoted it, deals with the rights of "CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES." Illegal immigrants ARE NOT CITIZENS, and therefore are not conferred the rights of natural born or naturalized citizens. Read a freaking book for goodness' sake.

Hard working taxpayers treated as well (and since they need less government support, worse than) people without the respect for the law.

    So when the government abdicates it's responsibility, it has invited a challenge to it's authority.

    You need to read AZ brief in response to the Fed's court filing. It outlines very specific rules, authority given to state and local policing agencies to do EXACTLY what the Arizona law authorized state and local law enforcement to do! Arizona is in compliance with the law!
