Question: which type of PVC was that. I know you mentioned checking prices, but was that solid core or foam core. I'm thinking about using this design and idea to do my gaunts because I have very small wrists, and this would fix my problem I'm thinking. But, I am looking to do something similar for my knees, and I wondered which kind of PVC was the best to use...or if it really even matters?

So, the heathuin is useable without gloves? and is it very painfull if the heat from the heat gun totuches your hand directly?

@BobvanDijk I would suggest using gloves to prevent burning. If the heat from the gun hits your hand it will burn.
