  • Thumbs up for the ketchup!

  • Guys a questions: when elevate fully to the top and looked at neutral position, does it swivel/rock back and forth/side to side a bit?

    I think mine is broken....

  • i want one bad

  • 参考にしますわ。

  • Sooo... What's your opinion about the chair today? Any quality issues?

  • hahaha YEAH! Brother, I unboxed today, same beauty, I love this chair! GREAT video btw

  • I thought some heavy metal was going to blast out of my speakers after you got your knife lol.

  • @Psypherion That sure would have cranked up the awesome factor!

  • i dont know why but i need to eat heinz tomato right now.

  • Did you break your guitar or something why is it shaped like that?

  • @XManiiAkX It's called a cutaway, it allows for better control in the area high on the fretboard.

  • @rampagetv oh sorry its caused i never seen an acoustic guitar like that thanks for the info

  • How much does it cost?

  • Unobtrusive ketchup commercial, sir.

  • @cjmtrumpet Same here, it's a really great chair for the money!

  • I saw this chair in the College Park,Md store yesterday and loved it. Since it was $200 I decided to research complaints about the store first. I'm glad I did. I've never read so many complaints that were clearly the stores fault! Many were because the store employee gave the customer the wrong boxed item . Yet if a box is opened they say you can't return the item because the box was retaped?? Suppose a screw or wheel is missing which happens all the time? I think I'll pass!

  • @2004mojo Wow, guess the Ikea in US is completely different from the Ikeas in Europe. I've never had any problems with Ikea and buy stuff from there often. Good quality and a low price! Very nice!

  • Thanks a lot for the video, i'm heading to IKEA today to buy this model.

  • Bought this chair today and I love it! But what I love most of all is your put down comments to a chosen few on here, bloody brilliant! :OD

  • @Garry1bowie Hehehe thanks man, I'm glad you like the chair and comments :P Peace

  • wow, a possible hunting knife, you're so fucking tough.

  • @KrisMTL LOL it's actually a military knife, so according to your flawed logic it would make me a brainwashed pussy zombie that needs to be told who's the bitch.

  • son of a hore chair !!!!!!!

  • I have this chair, brilliant however it has started squeaking pretty bad, anyone know how to stop this?

  • @markml27 Mine hasn't started squeaking yet. If I had to come up with a solution I would say lube it up with some oil. Squeaking is only the sound of 2 parts rubbing against each other with a lot of friction. And yes, I did just say "squeaking", "lube it up", "rubbing against each other", and "friction". :D

  • @nahcba Who knows what kind of horrible creatures could live inside it too!

  • Add, rape, subscribe!

  • he needs to stop buying chairs and start cleaning his house up..lol i saw a random ketchup bottle

  • @xblfann75 That was actually because I was eating some hotdogs earlier that day... Are you like the food-is-still-in-your-room-after-20-minutes police?

  • I just got this chair, and it's great. Mine is the green textil one and the color it's awesome. GJ on the video.

  • @ph91ctl Thanks ;)

  • I just got this chair, and it's great. Mine is the green textil one and the color it's awesome. I hate vinyl, it feels cheaper and had a bad experience with and old office chair covered in vinyl. GJ on the video.

  • Hate how this chair costs AU $400

  • @2122aaor What.... What the? How?

  • @rampagetv Inflated Australian prices.....

  • Considering getting this chair, sick of some of the crap chairs I've bought over the years. Sat in one at my local Ikea store and it was very comfortable.

  • Step 5 sucks!

  • There are mistake in advice paper in number 5.

  • @ETHamsteR I'm afraid we have different manuals due to different countries. I threw mine away anyways. Did this video help you out at all?

  • I want to buy one for me between Xmas...

I am confused by the model in leather (159 eur) and the other three model in fabric orange or blue or green .. (129eur) .

I try today at the ikea store these models and I find more comfortable these last ones, less harder for my .. behind face.. in the sit than the leather models, but the leather black is more beautiful to see and touch.. What I have to do ?

    Thankyou.

  • @1710ema I'd pick leather over fabric any day. Any leather has to wear in to be 100% comfortable, and when it does it's much more durable and stink-resistant.

  • @1710ema "for my .. behind face.." rofl haha... Is it the back of your head you might be thinking of? Anyway, epic description made my day:)

  • I'm sorry but mine says it's not real leather *confused*

  • @hwy9nightkid I can't be sure about yours, but this on this one, it definitely is. Except for the headrest as mentioned.

  • Thanks for posting this video ! I was really stumped about how to attach the back to the seat and your video cleared it up for me. I really appreciate it. Your fan in Florida.

  • @R1golettofan

No problem man! So, as a fan, have you checked out my site? It has new Project Studio updates, so you can follow the build of my new studio!

  • @R1golettofan

I had exactly the same problem. The video helped me too.

    Thanks rampagetv!

  • @theaussiedane Glad I could help!

  • I hate the fact that it doesn't really lock in an upright position. Even when locked the backrest will still go back a bit. Hear the sound @06:59?

  • I have this chair and it's great!

  • @maishiranui33

    It really is!

  • this is probably gonna sound stupid.

I bought a chair like this but I can't for the life of me figure out how to assemble that gas elevation system

  • @SjPedro

It's forced down into the base.

  • I just can't do the step 5

  • @vozERi Same here...the screws don't "catch" on anything in the L-shaped plate that I attached (successfully) to the seat bottom. Those oval shaped holes on the other side of the plate, they don't engage with the short-ish screws that you're instructed to use. I wish I could see what dude is doing starting around 5:00 in the video...

  • @tstatler

I actually got it work. Only thing that I remember is that I felt really really stupid when I realized it.

  • @vozERi Me too! I didn't realize I could be so stupid.

  • @tstatler

Awesome gaming chair tho =) good you got it work too

  • @tstatler i made same mistake too

  • @vozERi yea it's too difficult. you must put back seat on the T-board. I didn't realize it very fast.

  • an awesome gaming chair

  • @difdude

    Yeah it probably is!

  • thanks for the great vid i didnt get instructions so i followed you :))

  • @acesuppoker

    Great!

  • AWESOME!

That was a really great video and it helped me make up my mind about which chair to buy!

    Thanks!

  • @yukonben

    Thanks! No problem man!

  • good vid, appreciate the effort

  • @ltblank

    Thanks!

  • good vid, appreciate the effort

  • Nice video man, chair looks sweet as I'm getting one in a few days time.

  • @Gligz

Thanks you, and congratulations on your purchase!

  • Mine came without a manual:(

  • @rafen8705

You don't really need it IMO, but if you're not handy, the IKEA website comes to the rescue. Honestly it's not that hard, you should be able to do without. Thanks for commenting!

  • i was thinking about getting this chair for gaming. how cumfy is it for long hours of gaming to the people that have this chair?

    i'm 5'5" and 120 lbs.

  • @guest001

I'm a bit taller and heavier than you (6' and 165 lbs), and I do graphic design and studio producing. That means A LOT of chair-time. I sit on this chair every day for about 12 hours, so I guess I'm a pretty heavy user. Having a headrest is really nice, and after almost 8 months it still works fine. I would recommend this chair to any gamer.

  • just bought one today! :D amazing chair

  • @holysmokes700

    Jep I thought the same

  • nice vid bought one today :) and to the ones who dont have one, it really is a nice chair :D

  • @00BGBurn00

Thanks! Yep this is one sweet chair. Congratz on your purchase :P

  • the fat knife was so unnecessary :P

  • @trickynho

yep it was xD but fun

  • What the fuck is up with your voice? You sound like a Swedish Kermit the Frog.

    Cool Chair though!

  • @jubmasterflex

LAWL not to be mean but I make money with my voice and for as far as I know you don't. :P watch my RØDE NTK video, at the beginning you can hear some of my work. My personal website, found on my profile page.

  • best video EVA!

  • Lawl thanks!

  • Cut your nails.

  • My left hand nails are short. My right hand nails are long. Look at my wall. Any questions? :P

  • I just bought one today. Still need to put it together.

  • Should be easy enough ;) It was for me anyways.

  • so after 2 months of use, how is it holding up? How is the actualy seat padding on it now? Is it still thick or is it starting to deflate and become uncofortable?

  • Still as great as the day I got it. No squeaking, no deflating. I will post a review this or next week I think...

  • Great video! Rated 5*.

    Got a few questions!

    - You said 50 euros? On IKEA's website it is £109?

    - What is the width from the left to the right, and from the top to the bottom?

    Thank you, please reply :)

  • 150 euros you just said as I heard it again! Sorry :P

  • Oh also one more thing :P How high are the arm rests from the floor! THANK YOU :D:D

  • I said 150 euro's yes :P the width of the seat is 53cm or 21in, the total width is 63cm or 25in, the height of the back support is 90cm or 36in, total height is 144cm or 55in. I didn't know exactly what you meant so I just measured it all. The armrests are 79cm or 31in. All the measurements are done with the chair in its highest setting. Thanks for rating and commenting ;)

  • :D oohh thank you.

  • No problem ;)

  • cheap office chairs fuck up your spine

  • That's what expensive-chair-making-companies want you to think. How you sit on it has waaaay more to do with that. Sit straight and at the right height, and you'll be safe generally. Of course one chair is better for your back than the other, and the more you have to sit on it the better the chair you wanna get.

  • you should put a towel on your new chair so you dont ruin it.

  • lol no way.

  • cool vid, enjoy it!

  • Thanks!

  • How long have you had the chair for?

    How are you finding it?

  • take a look at the date the video was posted. i got it the 9th i think. and i found it at my IKEA store, as the title suggests.

  • A few days is better than a few minutes - so I was just wondering.

And the "how are you finding it" bit - it does not mean where did you find the cahir, rather how do you liek the chair.

  • oh lol, i thought your English was just crappy :P its a really great chair for the money, i like how you can tilt it backwards.

  • Yeah i suspected that a bit. and i see.

you mention that you sat in "the $800" chairs - did you try the aeron chair?

  • No, because none of the models I saw had a headrest. I have sat on a few Grahl chairs, including the Synchrons. I'm not a chair expert or anything, but I just think this is a GREAT chair for the money.

  • let me correct myself. I tried 2 Aeron chairs, but none of those had a headrest. I believe the nice ones with headrest go into the $1200 price range.

  • I see and yeah - indeed they are quite expensive, but of course are said to be very good.

The reason I asked about the more expensive ones - I just wondered whether you tried the Aeron chair and if so what you though.

But yeah - I sat on the MARKUS a several months ago and it was alright, but it seemed like my upper back was curving into the seat too much - a problem I had with a previous chair from IKEA also. I think it was called ALLAK, if not it seems quite similar.
