Good grief. What a call that was. Though, the agent made a big mistake by focusing on the product when in fact, it is obvious that the customer needed help, not the product. This agent should of try to calm him down and advise him to stop hammering his product and the call should of been escalated right away. I know, I get these escalations to resolve.

Put it this way, if you were a company and you made 5000 units of the same product there's bound to be a percentage of those units that are faulty or flawed in some way. Every single company that makes computer/tech hardware has warranty programs in place to cover this sort of fall out... And its probably not a hardware issue, Its probably Windows...
@iKyleInk i can assure you that it is hardware. i used to have a few hp printers and laptops. they all died within 18 months. i had one as early as 6 months. i thought i would be ok cause i purchased 2 year extended warranty an all of them. when i called to rma, they won't even speak with me and told me warranty expired. now i only buy toshiba, lenovo, asus, canon and even acer has much better reliability.
I've been trying to get a job in technical support, and if I was that operator, I would have put him on hold and immediately called the police. This is without a doubt the most psychotic caller I have ever seen in all of my years, and throughout the duration of this video I really felt sorry for that helpdesk operator. He must have been thinking the same thing I was the whole time.
It wouldn't surprise me if he needed counselling after that.

..well..being a tech support for quite sometime now for 2 computer company's..and an isp..this do happen..what people should know is that..when buy a computer/any electronic gadget..it has a limited warranty..so you either get an extended warranty to cover it, just in case anything happens to it..but it doesnt have to be an "accident" that you did to it..so learn to take care of your equipment..cause if you break it..you buy it..no acts of God covers your ass on such cases..
