It reminds me of the different "sides" of town, when you go to the southside, it's rough areas, and they're looking for a "sunny day," so a good day. Some parts of town are rougher than others, and some are not. It also reminds me of gangsters perhaps riding through town, looking for a good day, so they are taking a trip through the different parts of town. This is just my take on it so.

what an incredible song. Love it. Took a few times and after thinking more I realized that when they say "watching out for a sunny day" in the chorus it means that they're hoping everything goes well, since a sunny day is a good thing.
