@Mattroful I had Phase II locking tuners, and Tremonti pickups added. The stock ones are great for the price, but I hate changing strings, and lockers make it so much easier.
@InferiorG Hi. Thanks! Robb told me I'm playing it note for note, but I'm playing the intro riff in a slightly different position than he is. Not too far off. ;)
@garynoon sorry for asking another question :L can the baritone tune up to drop B and C# standard aswell and if it can how much harder will it be to bend the strings ?
@3441Edward Yes. Drop B is basically, C# Standard tuning, with the 6th string tuned down to B. It'll handle it just fine (I've covered a few tunes in Drop B on this guitar), though you'll want to check the intonation when you make the change.
@DiveBombProductions The Mike Mushok SE Baritone plays very well. The 27.7 inch scale neck is perfect for lower tunings, and it has an insane amount of sustain. Robb Torres from Trapt uses one of these guys (even though his has a custom white finish) about 70% of the time while they're on stage.
Lemme know if you decide to get one. They retail for around 600 bucks, US.
@Ralenissocold Yep! The Zach Myers SE is great. It's the heaviest (weight-wise) SE I have, besides the Mike Mushok SE Baritone. The middle pickup is a little hard to get used to if you're like me, and generally pick in that spot, but it taught me to change positions a bit, and even to make my pick attack a bit shallower ( I tend to be very aggressive). Sounds a little thin, but just dial in some mid and you'll be fine.
@3441Edward Hi Edward, sorry for the late reply. The Mike Mushok SE Baritone is a bad-ass guitar, especially for the insanely low tunings. It comes tuned to A Standard from the factory. The 27.7 inch scale neck is perfect for what you are looking for. As an added bonus, a lot of guys besides Mike are using it these days.
i want that room.....

@lefthandedmetal27 I agree. Great music. I'll get to more of their tunes eventually. So much music, so little time. ;)

i see u have the Zach Myers SE model in the back
how does it sound and does the middle pup impede any playing? Ive never played a HHH guitar before so i would like your perspective
Ralenissocold 1 year ago
@Ralenissocold Yep! The Zach Myers SE is great. It's the heaviest (weight-wise) SE I have, besides the Mike Mushok SE Baritone. @garynoon thanks for the response
what guitar would the SE Zach Myers compare to in terms of weight and is it a thick body guitar?
Ralenissocold 1 year ago
@Ralenissocold Hi. It's weight-comparable to a SC245 or SC250.
It's got a mahogany body, and a maple top with a maple veneer.
It's the heaviest I've played ( weight-wise) next to my Mike Mushok SE Baritone.
garynoon 1 year ago
@garynoon oh ok
thats not Too Bad i guess....of course it could really pain my shoulders lol
Ralenissocold 1 year ago
@Ralenissocold It's actually very well-balanced. It won't feel that heavy.
garynoon 1 year ago
@garynoon alright sweet
i would get tremonti SE but no adjustable stoptail is downside
plus zach myers looks better :)
thanks for the info.
Keep Rocking
