nah, the matte/glossy is the same price. and yeh, I wanted to wait, I waited 2 months hoping that they would release the new design with the iPhone 2.0... but they didnt and I couldnt wait anymore, I dropped my old one pretty hard and messed up the hard drive, lol, plus it was 4 ears old.
