Why does everyone consider every upgrade as a major upgrade? They're often just improvements. I mean, Nano getting video and iPod Touch not is strange, but iPod Touch will have that too!

I can't believe Apple did that. The iPod touch 3G should have SOMETHING good like the iPhone 3GS. The touch still has no vibration, no compass, no camera (not even one for pictures), no built-in mic, and STILL a sucky battery. Apple is fcking gay as hell.

well the reason would be because the ipod touch doesn't have a lot of room. The performance + probably took some room up and the larger battery. Also they probably had some ipod touch 2g cases left so they didn't want to waste more money on making a completely new design. The ipod nano is cheaper and it doesn't have much to it except the music it self so the camera definitely gives it something better and give it a little more options. Also they don't want the ipod touch too close to the iphone
