Interesting design, but really puts the weight up high. I have a side by side deck sits on the truck box floor. Would rather have the extra width then my Grizzly 700 sitting above the cab! : )
It's not a bad as you might think, you can easily travel the posted speed in the mountains without feeling like your pushing it at all. This unit also puts all the weight in the bottom of the truck bed. I haul two Suzuki 700 King Quads and pull my camper at the same time. It's really saved me a lot of money and time. If you interested in a set of plans to build your own let me know.
ive seen one of these, where the back half folds up and then you can load a third one into the box.
