  • david gilmour's music possesses something i can't put my finger on, but to put it briefly it is magical. it's more than just playing well, or special effects, it takes you away totally into a different world. Led Zeppelin also does this, among others. But there's definitely a special quality about this music that makes it timeless. Maybe that's why this song is on my ipod 30 years after it was made!

  • Great song!

  • smooth, very, smooth

  • I wish he would do a few of these songs when on tour. Great post, thanks.

  • Is no speed guitar, but i can´t understand the geniallity on this guy. Your precisions notes and scales. God, Gilmour have a amazing sensibility!!! DAVID GILMOUR 1978 is fabulous. Gilmour is light, in best music performance, near the jazz, hardrock, in the final comment: FREE . . . TANKS DAVE
