I personally believe that the main reason comes from outside earths atmosphere. If you research all the planets are going through the same rise and its possible a massive heat wave in the universe is on its way to our Galaxy or the universe temperature is rising itself or something more greater is on its way! Earth has an overwhelming history of being warm with no Ice Caps. (mid Cretaceous) Ice Caps are the rarity to be studied. what causes Ice Caps? Solar system changes? Combinations of things most likely. Have faith, study science, all works out.

Global Warming is NOT manmade but the problem here is that We're speeding up the process like crazy, since Global Warming does cause an Ice Age. The Earth is only 4 billion years old and had only 7 Ice Ages in the past. 15,000 years is a pretty short time between 2 ice ages compared to the length of time with the others.
