@okayillgonow i disagree. It keeps you on a standstill calculating the meter? it's ridiculously simple. Its pretty much only ever 3/2=6/4, 3/4 or 5/8 pretty much.
And this is certainly NOT the most progressive composition. It's not all that experimental either. Have you not heard Double Sextet, Daniel Variations or Mallet Quartet or 2x5 or The Desert Music?
@amistrymister: I guess I should say the change makes you think, "since when did it change?" Yeah it is simple to find each meter but not when it changes all of a sudden. Sorry that my wording was not very good; I'm now obliged to delete my comments. :\
And no I didn't hear Double Sextet until you told me; thanks because that is an even greater piece. I've not heard of the others until you told me; I'll check them out. :)

Double Sextet is my second favourite piece of music ever, after music for 18 musicians ofc.
