  • Nice! I love it. I've been your fan for a long time, I just got a YT account. Minor chords on a banjo are always so haunting. :) (Subscribed!)

  • I am so envious of anyone who lives with you or any neighbors you have. Gosh!

  • Nicely done

  • Wow, Mozart sounds musical! Great Job!

  • Nice. Everything is bluegrass!

Look at this: Poutnici - Rondo alla Turca

  • Damn dude, you rock! Have you ever tried clawhammer?

  • that was sexy

  • Wear picks boy play the banjo right!

  • Someday you should write this arrangement down. It's absolutely incredible.

  • Great playing. The banjo you have also has a nice town. I've played this piece on plectrum peterbanjo.

  • wow D: Amazing!

  • Bravo!

  • I can't believe this only has 9000 views! Its freakin' awsome!

  • Fantastic! One of my favorite Mozart compositions. Your improvisations based on his themes are good - you can either read the music "straight" or you can interpret by ear, which was how most composers and musicians did it before music was recorded.

    Best wishes!

  • have you ever tried playing cumbus?

  • I can't remember how many times I have watched this now, but it gets better every time! You Sir, are a genius!

  • That's an interesting sound! It does sound like a sitar! But I like it and really good picking!

  • omg, well done!! <3

  • I don't know much about banjos but yours kinda sounds like a sitar. Sounds good. I dont know how to play but I want to build one out of an old cigar box and learn to play it.

  • Damn - you can P L A Y !!!! :-)

  • :O

    5/5

  • you're a genius!! I love this piece play whit the banjo!!

  • You have a lot of talent. Very pretty.

  • nice no apalegies needed ;)

  • Bela Fleck would be proud.

  • 5 Stars and Faved.

  • Omg

    Your good

  • You are my hero.

  • I really like this. I'm always saying I'd love for some of the speed metal guitarists to get together with the bluegrass guys. Adding composers like Mozart and Bach to that mix would be even more amazing.

  • Checkout the bluegrass band Iron Horse. Their Ozzy Osbourn covers are some of my favorite songs of all time. Their Metallica songs are also pretty prevelant on youtube

  • Wow. This is superb.

..But you need some sun, mate. I thought you were wearing latex gloves.

Superb, superb, superb. Title is ironic.

  • Isn't the banjo traditionally played on the porch while watching the sun set?

    You should do it.

  • Good lord it sounds like a portable harpsichord :O

  • I've never thought of the banjo that way, but you're right! Good observation.

  • You fucking rock!

  • When I saw the banjo, my first though was, "Well, this is going to suck pretty hard." You proved me completely wrong. This is a brilliant and beautiful rendention. Mozart would be proud!

  • I used to think the same thing. But banjo players are usually fast as hell, more like metal than anything else. A lot of the musicianship in bluegrass is just amazing. Check out Union Station sometime.

  • agreed

  • Inutterably brilliant.

  • This was awesome. Please don't do Canon.

  • Seconded.

  • Thirded

  • that was awesome. what tuning are you in?

  • Thanks. Standard G tuning (gDGBD)played out of C minor.

  • That was one of the best things that I've heard in recent history. No joke or exaggeration, I loved that.

  • Fantastic! can you do Canon?

  • wow you're so skillful

  • I dunno, I don't think an apology is necessary. I think if I were Mozart I would be pumped to hear an adaptation like that.

  • How did you learn this? Did you come up with your own arrangement or Tab or what? Great job!

  • I just screw around until I find note combinations that suit me. I don't do written music or tab. I'm trying to re-arrange this so it's more faithful to the original comp. Thanks for the good words.

  • That's impressive indeed. I'm a new student of the banjo (been a professional drummer for most of my life) so I'm really still getting used to tab and music notation. Keep up the good, enjoyable work! I'll keep watching.

  • @ogershok it's been 3 years, have you done it yet?

  • five stars

  • this guy is freakin' awesome!
