I love it! A breath of fresh air from the past when life in general was less hectic and stress-filled than today! I hope you can sell the end product at the fairs and agricultural days to off-set some of your costs. I'd like to know, if you have time, if it is very expensive and time consuming to maintain such machines? Greetings from New Zealand.
@peteacher52 It's not very expensive, especially compared to most hobbies. It was very time consuming to refurbish the old mills but now there is very little upkeep to them. The Farmall tractor has been in our family for over 50 years and has been very dependable. It's great to get a comment from someone "down under". Thanks.
@jhlayne2000 That's a good point. A length of alkathene pipe, open at both ends, slipped over the shaft before connecting to the tractor would overcome most of that dangerous potential.

@jhlayne2000 That probably doesn't meet OSHA requirements. But if you think that looks dangerous, just wait til I post a video of the sawmill!!!

Wow a sheller and a mill all in one device running off of one tractor. What if you owned that about 90 years ago? Wow. Very cool.

Thanks for your comment. My brother completely rebuilt the mill, and now he demonstrates it at Fairs and festivals.
