  • You done?

    NOT.....EVEN.....CLOSE......BUD!

  • Ohh maaan! Gotta get me that time-machine finished!! Who's in?!!!!

    rich:-)))

  • was there, saw this at pictures, was just old enough to get in, it was a 15 certificate

  • wish i could have been there in the 80's

  • @FunkyPajamaMan Most likely; I hope they never remake this, they already remade Friday the 13th, Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Prom Night, Psycho, Teen Wolf, WarGames, When a Stranger Calls :( John Hughes would roll over in his grave if they remade his great teen movies :(

  • @Shiska14 They remake it I am rioting...~js~

  • @FunkyPajamaMan Very true, I watched it again a few days ago and it's still my favourite :) Why aren't there teen movies like that anymore?

  • 3 people and so on "grew up & their hearts died" for disliking this.

  • BENDER!

  • Well, Bromden75, this is a very nutritious soundtrack. Allllllllllll of the music tracks are represented.

Did your mom marry Mr. Dynamite?

  • Wonderful movie. Wonderful soundtrack. Wonderful actors. Wonderful director.

    Thanks for this song!

  • This is such an amazing movie. Dahm, i love it so god dahm much!

  • fucking epic song bitches !!!!!!!1

  • 3 ppl don't know 80s music

  • 3 people hate classic movies <3

  • Best 80's movie ever.

  • Modern day society sucks in many ways, look back at the 80's and early 90's and everything was so much better, music, movies, cartoons, tv shows, hell i'll even go as far as to say hair styles and clothing, not to mention peoples general attitudes and personalities were way better. Bring back those times, bring back shows like 21 Jump Street, cartoons like ThunderCats and Music like this, bring back the old school WWF and wrestlers like Macho Man Randy Savage and movies likeThis and Lost Boys.

  • @Blinx79 thank GOD for this website eh bro,u forgot Daisy Duke:)

  • I was totally born in the wrong year.

  • This my fab. song from BC except for Simple Minds ofcourse

  • the 80's never die as long as this song is still played !!!!

  • I lived from the age of 6 to 16 through the 80's. Mtv was the most important entertainmet network back then.

  • Nostalgia stunts progress. Let the 80's rest in piece people

  • @Antichrist2000

No, looking back at happier times and trying to emulate them help make the future more productive and interesting. Obviously, current artists need to take notes from their predecessors.

  • Im 13.

I want to be born in the 80's.

It sounds like the most epic era that there was.

    The movies, style, music, actors.

  • @dcshoecousa101 omg i have 13 to, and this is same!

  • i love this scene, when their all running, the song is so perfect

  • "waking up the sheep is not easy" - best comment i've ever seen on youtube. people (as a whole) nowadays are just stupid! the 2000s suck, bring back the 80s!

  • @goldlessbassist If your referring to the decade this isn't the 2000's it's the 2010's, you fucking idiot.

  • does barry manilow know you raid his wardrobe?

  • @GTAfreakazoid23 after that ill have to check my calender lmao!!!

  • @TheSammo2826 funny thing is, i downloaded this movie to my PS3

  • I go from Nine inch nails to TooL to Muse to THIS!!!! love this song lol!!!! 80s songs are BAD ASS!!!

  • I'm 15 years old and can't understand why I weren't young in the 80s. It seems so f*****g great...

  • This song plays in my head way more often than it rightfully should. Dammit, all 80's songs are such guilty pleasures! :)

  • OH MAN, THIS MAKES ME WANT TO GO BACK IN TIME!!! 80'S FOREVER!!!!

  • My father graduated in 75'. He has no idea how much I envy his existence in the 80's.

  • @OliverHElkus My father didn't Graduate..He has a Great idea of how much i Envy his existence in the 1970's..And yes music has been dead since 90's i think?

  • @1980Invasiontour sure has. you can dig deep and find a few good indie bands (im not talking death cab for cutie, vampire weekend indie. I'm talking serious indie music. Indie by definition and popularity).

  • shit we're dead......bender: no....just me.....IIIIII WANNA BE AN AAAAAAAIRBORNE RANGEEEEEEER

  • Thank you for posting these songs from the soundtrack. I used to have this on LP, and I haven't been able to listen to the soundtrack for years. I am anxiously awaiting the day that I can get it on CD, but for now I'll just listen to Youtube.

  • @bloofan06

You can send away for it via Amazon.

  • I'm only 17 but I love this movie. I saw it at school earlier this year and was immediately hooked. Movies from the 60s, 70s and 80s are way better than today's movies. The music and TV shows of those years are also great. I just wish I grew up in the 80s and experienced the amazing music, movies and TV shows.

  • @Shiska14 ugh, so do iiii <3 and im 15. =/ why couldnt my mother have become a whore and conceived me in the 80s??

  • @tahitiancookie Yeah, too bad we're stuck in this current era with Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Twilight :( I wish I was in the 80s instead, I would have lots of fun :)

  • @tahitiancookie

You'd probably have resented her at some point down the track and as I said to someone else, your grandparents would have probably not gone for that... XD.

  • @Shiska14 It is interresting that you find connection with a movie I loved when I was a teen.

I agree that today's movies, stink.

  • i'm fourteen, and i like this kinda stuff, it's pretty good :)

  • very nostalgic!!

  • If I run president The first thing Imma do is bring the 80's back and I know just how to do it! :) Get all the old clothes back and do old looking tv shows and play these old songs and make them sound like the 80's

    *80'S LOVER FOREVER*

  • This came out when I was a freshman in high school in suburban chicago, i lived this movie. I love nostalgia

  • @starkweather444 Are you familiar with the school in Des Plaines where "The Breakfast Club" was filmed? Just thought I'd ask since you said you're from suburban Chicago.

  • @ter521fad yeah Maine North in Des Plains I have been inside it and it looked exactly the same, but this was around the time it was filmed don't know what its like now. But its still there.

  • great times......

  • lets bring back the 50's yea anybody ?

  • @cinnomonsinner And the 1830s too, remember those?

  • @xXHuckleberryFinnXx such good days

  • @cinnomonsinner I remember when Jesus came to play at the Hershey Theater. Ahhh, good times.

  • @xXHuckleberryFinnXx hahaha lmao

  • this might sound strange but I'm autistic and like to imagine in my mind that when I was in high school it was really the 80's and all the people I went to school with were there too. it's just 20 years off.

  • The only film I can watch everyday and never get tired of.

  • I thought this movie was okay. But I certainly and without a doubt, LOVE the music. 80s music is always a pleasure to listen to.

  • Born in 1967, as a kid in the '70s was cool and laid back, after I turned 13 in 1980 the '80s were just getting better: the music, the movies, the parties nearly every week. Hmm... it was really a great time for me at least. Party hearty. Sure, I had some moments that were not good but I made up for those with some much better moments. Had a lump in my throat & a welling in the eyes during graduation in '86 because i could see the times were changing.

  • I love this movie and the soundtrack is great! Very cool song!

  • fucking greatest movie ever

  • I was born in 1987 but fortunately took the time when I was younger to watch films from the 80s, in particular John Hughes movies, partly thanks to my mum but greatly because I didn't want to listen to rubbish like garage and bad hiphop that spawned from 1998 onwards. My favourite band is The Doors and I am proud to admit that, and somehow I get a surprising amount of respect for that. I also have a big penchant for bands of the 80s and a lot of New Romantic stuff. All I'm saying is today sucks

  • Awe...the era of big hair, Bon Jovi, Micheal Jackson, and oh yes...the "Brat Pack"...I'm so glad to have spent my teen years in this unforgetable time....:)

  • If it weren't for the Breakfast Club, I wouldn't know about the songs on this soundtrack.

  • i love this movie! it's so good! i watched it for the first time at my friends house this summer and now i'm in love with it. i even ordered a poster of it ahahaha. :)

  • @retarguus he was in footloose you fuckin shit stain cunt

  • @robtwinkle obviously you dont understand satirical humor. furthermore, im going to make the assumption that you are 15 years old and in doing so forgive you for your embecilic remark. i sincerely hope you arent older because then i would have to call you a dumbass. i will know shortly which anterior hypothesis was accurate.

  • The eighties must have been amazing but people will be saying the same thing about our present era... SO ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @arsenal1032 your are so wrong about that! the nintes were not that memorable and the last decade of pop culture has lacked creativity and im sure we will continue to devolve.

  • @TheDotComKid84

How to split the 90s in a quick way...

Early: New Jack Swing and Grunge

Mid: Gangsta Rap (When it was fashionable) and Britpop

Late: Every Boy/Girl band with 3-6 members plus Trance and Electronic

  • @arsenal1032 God, I hope not. If people look back at the early 00s and envy this time, then how bad will it be in 2030 or 2040? I was born in 1980 and the last 9-10 years have easily been the worst in my life time. I remember not caring much for the 90s, but now I'd kill to even have them back. 9/11, Bush and his cronies ruined everything. I feel sorry for the kids who completely missed out on the 80s.

  • I agree. I graduated in 1992. There are things I prefer not to relive then, but overall it was much simplier. I'll go back with u.

  • im 12 years old & im in love with the 80s. man i wish i couldve lived in the 80s! these sucky singers are shit!

  • ehh smoke up johnny!

  • "does Barry Manilow know u raided his closet?"

  • @awstrali its " does barry manilow know you RAID his WARDROBE

  • oOoOoOo smartass.

  • @awstrali fuck u asshole go fuck urself

  • @rainlova000000000001 Whoa, really all that for just a line that some one messed up ....wow you need anger management .

  • @thewhatswhatshow bite me

  • @rainlova000000000001 wow i'm so scared . you know what , you're the type of person that think they can do whatever they want just cuz we can't see you face to face but when really ... one day you will screw up and they will track your IP address . You have to put down every one to make yourself feel better .

  • @awstrali

    I would guess yes!

  • @awstrali Correction buddy, it's "Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?" ;)

  • @BallBatBenny smart assssssssssssss

  • @awstrali Its wardrobe not closet. Brian says closet.

  • @awstrali

"raid his wardrobe"...just correcting for authenticity lol

  • I miss the 80's too. the world had a better feel back then not having to worry about "getting a cap yo ass" over a pair of shoes or a rhyme. todays influence is just plain heathen and ugly.

  • ...what we found out, is that each one of us is a brain,

    and an athlete,

    and a basketcase,

    a princess,

    and a criminal.

    Does that answer your question?

    Sincerely yours,

    The Breakfast Club.

  • @Jr2green Ha ha ha. Awesome. Brings back a lot of memories !

  • RUN, IT'S DICK! D:

    HE'S ALWAYS THERE.

  • If you want to hear some hard core 80's listen to talk talk or slit enz those were the forst alternative type groups....Wang Chung was great!

  • @kcran5671 i mean split enz

  • thats when i was 16 when i first heard the song. I was in high school in the 80's and can 100% assure you it was way better than now. We still had an economy, America was at its peak in every way: no terrorism, people were better, it was wayyyy more fun. No cell phones or internet then but still better than now. Not much has changed except things are worse now and there are a few more gadgets to play with now thats it. Pretty bad trade off if you ask me.

  • meaningless song. I thought it was about star trek when i heard it.

  • @kcran5671 awesome song, just saying what i thought when i first heard it

  • I am glad to know I am not the only kid nowadays who can appreciate and long for a return to the way the 80's were.

  • im 14, & i feel like i was born in the wrong decade. i totally love the 80s. i wish i lived back then. im pretty sure it was way more fun then today. when my friends think stuff from the 80s is stupid, i just think about how they obivously dont know what fun iss :P

  • Man sometimes I think I'm an older person inside an 18 yr old body xD I'm just a person that prefers 80s music and everything over today's stuff...also this movie beats out more than half of the crap in theaters today as well because it's timeless. I truly believe that if I could have been a teenager in the 80s, it would have been a hell of a time. :) I say we rebel and teach everyone how to party like it's the 80s again lmao. ;D

  • I always knew I belonged in the 80's...I've loved everything about the 80's since I was a little kid.

Love the music, fashion and movies.

My mom is right...I don't belong here! lol

  • Comment removed

  • I hate that I wasnt even born in the 80s :( but atleast I get to experience its greatness now. Me and my sister LOVE watching these great 80s movies and we love the music :D

  • Oh my gosh me too. I wish I was born in the 80's. It was the only era that was full of fun.

  • I don't care what anybody says....this is the best movie ever.

  • I swear I shoulda been an 80s kid. I love the era music and the movies!

  • thinkin' bout takin' up a scholarshiiiip...

  • Bender is WIN

  • This is the song.

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS <3

  • If You Want More 80's Music, Check Out My Channel.

  • i love 80s music, you don't find beats like this anymore

  • I am pumped about the new audio quality module on mp4ify. Killer site 2 extract mp3s or mp4s from youtube.

  • LET'S BRING BACK THE 80's! crazy summer nights, cineparks, the music, the mentality of the people in the 80's.. y2k is crap and it's getting even worse as the years go by. I just turned 16 in October but inside I feel like I'm 35 bcuz I miss something that I wasn't even born to see ! Damn, why didn't my mom become pregnant at 15? xD I love the breakfast club because it's timeless.. No matter what era we're in, it's always the same.. We all belong to different groups but inside we're the same..

  • If your mum had become pregnant at 15, I think your Grandfolks would have had something to say about that. LOL.

  • @LiiLShorTiiie everything today is...well...boring

  • i know.. people are stuck on their computers and texting and crap... at my school we're not allowed to have our cell phone NOT EVEN IN THE CAFETERIA cuz of some idiot who took a picture of someone else's crack.. yea its stupid.. but in the 80's if you had to say something 2 someone it was face to face or on the phone.. now its all MSN , texting.. etc.. it sucks :P

  • @LiiLShorTiiie I WANT TO TOO!! I'm 16 and i feel the same way!! I just feel like i should have been a teen in the 80s!!!

  • @LiiLShorTiiie I WANT TO TOO!! I'm 16 and i feel the same way!! I just feel like i should have been a teen in the 80s!!!

  • so so true im also 16 but i miss something i never saw :(

  • @LiiLShorTiiie

I was a teenager in the 80s, but isn't any age really what we make of it, if we can all come together and... um...

Ah screw it. The 80s ruled, and I was there for it. ;)

  • @LiiLShorTiiie im the same cept im 13 i try to go as many concerts to live up what we have left of these musicans like KISS rush tom petty alice cooper phish australian pink floyd motley crue ozzy eric clapton def leppard van halen and it goes on and on my friends

  • Comment removed

  • @LiiLShorTiiie haha im totally the same way!

  • @LiiLShorTiiie Oh my god, you just like explained my life lol, I'm 14 and feel the same way!

  • @LiiLShorTiiie I love your comment!!!! It's true. I was born in 1985 and I didn't enjoy that marvellous age, but I do it every time I have the opportunity to listen to Benjamin Orr, Kenny Loggins, Cindy Lauper, New Order, Nik Kershaw, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran!! I love the 80's so much !!

  • i want to go back!!! i want live the 80's!!!!!!!!

so cool ,so romantic, the night, the rain and gooddddd music!

  • awesome song

  • I graduated in 1993. I was an 80's kid and I want to go back.. The world is just to ugly anymore. The 80's was the last good thing left. We can bring it back but, waking up the sheep is not easy:-(

  • ageed

  • @kidjr27 Well I'll try and do my best to wake them up.

  • @kidjr27 too true! seventies and eighties~best music and movies ♥

  • @kidjr27

In the 80s I have been to elementary school but I loved the music and movies already then.

  • me to!

  • its awesome that we all think the same thing, im 12 and i wish i either lived as a 12 year old through the 60s, 70s, 0r 80s

  • @sk8erguy011 same same dude

  • I'm only 14, almost 15 (1994) and I think it's great that these classics are still around. I hate that my generation and future ones have been brought up to like shit like Miley Cirrus, The Jonas Brothers, and other Disney crap. Granted Disney use to be great, but sadly has not held up in the past few years. I wish other great movies like Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, and others were still popular.

    R.I.P. John Huges

  • yea im 13 and i love all of these classics. My friends think im soo weird well most fo them but i HATE what kind of movies and music we have now...IF ONLY I WAS ALIVE BACK THEN! if only...... - _ -

  • Same here, granted they did have a few things that were s*** but they had a lot of great music. And don't worry, my friends (they few I have) think I'm weird too.And also not all (most thought) music is crap, I've found that Michael Buble is beautiful classical music.

  • OMG TOTALLY!my friends think i am so weirddddd

  • stfu...mind ya own fuckin bussiness.

  • @13ilovethe80s

If you're a 13 yr old that likes the 80s classics and music...that shouldn't make you weird, it just makes you unique and freaking awesome. :D *high fives* also sounds to me like your friends are the weird ones if they can't appreciate the good stuff in the 80s lol. I'm totally with you, the music and movies today are like 90% or more utter rubbish compared to the 80s. It seems that music back then had real good meanings or were very memorable, and the movies were timeless. :P
