All these companies get a free ride. ACORN had a few employees make a bad decision, say some stupid things, and condone a few illegal acts.

Trust me, the whole ACORN thing is just a political stunt - republicans want to link Obama to them (like saying you went to school with this guy and you were lab partners, so clearly you were best friends) and they want to make a big deal out of something that is relatively small. they don't care about the people they represent.

ACORN should be treated equal to KBR / Halliburton / Blackwater / Lockheed Martin / all other government contracts.

Guess what? Those OTHER companies have had dozens of ethical violations each, done other such wonderful things as:

LHM - Makes landmine parts and sells them internationally (an international war crime)

Blackwater - employees guilty of rape, murder, and race driven atrocities in Iraq

Halliburton / KBR - employees gang raped another employee, KBR won't let the employee sue.

We helped out a poor person so that should give us the right to do whatever the hell we want and who cares if it's wrong or immoral. We helped a poor person. It doesn't matter how evil we are and our employees. Go help yourselves and get some morals. America doesn't need your crooked help.
