No matter if some people don't like this song, the most important is the message that it's carrying, the love of god for everyone that exists on the earth, many people disliked Jesus too in his time but he continued to love without conditions and to forgive. The Love of God is stronger than anything else he everlasting during all the times and agaisnt all circumstances.

@beaflyy It is not fear why we worship Lord almighty, it is because we know that he is our savior and he has promised us rest, Jesus came from heaven knowing he would die on the cross at Calvary, knowing he would open the gates of heaven, and return again for 40 more days to be risen into heaven.
